Arena Seventy Two: The Nest I

[Nests. Homes. A place where an animal is safe.]

[This is a common trait among many animals, if not all.]

[Of course, humans are no exception to this. They also build homes and reside in them.]

[However, if someone's "home" becomes harmful to others... That is when you draw the line.]

[That is when it becomes essential to eradicate that nest... And sometimes, the species itself. At least, that is how humanity perceives things.]

[But does that rule not apply to humans themselves?]

"They are asking us to leave the room... ?"

I watched as the torch flashed through the glass in morse code.

"You better hurry up. I won't be able to handle the electricity much longer."

The woman holding the cable together said with a sigh. I glanced at her hand which now were turning black.

The frown on my face deepened as I turned away and gestured the team to regroup.
