Their carriage entered the Kieous, they looked out of the streets and saw nothing but deteriorated buildings, shops, and houses.

Melvi and Styrmir looked from the other window and saw children running behind the carriage, carrying bags and selling flowers, paper, and seasoned gram and peanuts.
