[Bonus chapter]DILEMMA

The day to day peaceful life of mine was interrupted when the artisans sent by the emperor finally arrived in the kingdom. They were here to learn the methods of constructing the superior quality of roads that had been built by me throughout our kingdom. He had already written in his previous letter that he wished for me to personally head the project throughout the empire.

While I was aware of how big and important this opportunity is for me, I could under no circumstance leave the kingdom for another few years. Yes, it was a big opportunity for me to get recognized by the emperor himself and get a footing in the empire, I was tied down by my own ambitions. 

I had a certain vision of what my kingdom and it's people will be by the time I am ready to set my focus on the world outside my home. For that to happen I could currently rely only on myself before I am able to groom trusted subordinates and capable personnel that would help me in easing my burdens.
