Zagan revealed a smile.
"That's what I was waiting for. Now, it's my turn." as he said this, an ice-sharp spade formed from his hand, and then, he threw out the spade in Titan's direction. It went very fast and Titan immediately formed a flame shield. As soon as the ice spade came in contact with the flame shield, the spade shattered.
Titan raised her brow and Zagan chuckled inwardly. "I was also only trying to see how much you could take. Don't worry, I'm not gonna kill you...after all, you're the only one I can talk to right now."
Next up, he formed ten spades at once.
"I want to see how you'll manage ten them." Zagan released all ten spades at once and this time, Titan also formed ten fireballs and directed them towards the ice spades. At this time, her energy was fast depleting because she had been on the battlefield since morning and now, the sun was already setting.
Somehow, she managed to hit all the targeted spades. And Zagan was impressed.
"One final round. Even though these are not sharp like the last ones, trust me they are as heavy as a mountain. These are iceballs and once they touch you, you'll freeze to death, they will be five in number; you must be careful."
Titan sighed inwardly. "Bring it on."
Zagan released the five ice balls at once and Titan immediately extinguished four but unfortunately, the fifth one hit her shoulder causing her to roll on the floor.
Zagan widened his eye. Did he go too far, he wanted to run towards her but she stood up. Zagan's eye instinctively went straight to her shoulder but he realized flame had engulfed her shoulder. But the flame was so weak, it almost wasn't able to burn the ice.
"Are you okay? Are you sure you're okay or do you me to check it out for you?" Zagan was worried she would turn to ice but her next statement caused him to chuckle.
Titan looked like she had had a near-death experience. "Cut the crap... now you're dead."
She began to attack him harder sending out flames simultaneously which he easily evaded.
"Hey! What are you doing? You know you won't be able to win against me if you are angry. You need to attack with a clear mind." Zagan reminded.
Titan chuckled "Are you a dummy? Of course, I know what I'm doing. We have to make it look real if not, the audience will know something's up. If I wanted to take you down I would have done that a long time ago. This is just me adding wine to their cups."
"Ahha! now I understand we'll let's keep this up till they get tired. But when you're done playing, tell me so we can put an end to this."Zagan replied thoughtfully
They kept attacking each other and to the audience, it was a tough battle but only both of them knew what was happening. Although master Wen Xu knew that Zagan was taking it easy on his competitors, he just relaxed and watched the show.
Amongst all the audience that watched the battle was an additional person. Even with the tight security of the school, she still managed to enter. Of course, she was here to watch the battle, and it apparently turned out more entertaining than she imagined it would be.
She sat at the top of the arranged chairs to get a clear view of what was happening and also to avoid obvious unwanted stares.
She was only given five days, of course, she had to do everything to bring those two together. This was just the third day and she had already found her targets. How interesting! Razel would be elated.
"Finally, there you both are. I've got you..."
Tiana was wearing a black hood that covered her hair and her medieval coat prevented people from seeing what she looked like. But, master A had been looking at her ever since Titan's match with Zagan began. She realized the strange lady didn't belong to any academy but then again, she thought she would be a master and not a student. But, the energy that emanated from her was too strong and dark, that master A couldn't help but be drawn to her.
Why would such a person be here?
Zagan and Titan fought for a while then all of a sudden, Titan moved with the speed of light and pushed Zagan to the floor, and knelt over his body. Zagan was startled for a second because he wasn't expecting it.
"Hey! That's cheating."
Titan had her eyes closed as she leaned over him.
When she opened her eyes, they had turned red at this time, Zagan wasn't worried for himself but her. He raised his brow.
"Are you okay?"
Titan let out a slight groan as if trying to fight something but her groan caused the ground to rumble as if an earthquake was about to occur.
The audience felt the impact and for a moment, they had their hearts in their mouth.
Noticing Titan's struggle, Zagan stroked her hair in a comforting manner. "It's alright...
Titan who's eyes were shut felt the vein bulge on her head relax. She then slowly opened her eyes but in the next moment, her vein bulge popped out again, and her eyes were filled with murderous intent.
Her fist turned to fire. She starred at her fist and directed her punch to Zagan but he easily evaded it. Now he knew something was really wrong with her. She kept attacking him faster and with more fury.
All the other audience thought it was still part of the fight so no one was bothered. Only master A knew that Titan had switched to her rampage mode. She initially had her eyes fixated on the strange woman but seeing Titan like this, she forgot about the stranger and walked up to the headmaster to tell her that Titan was not herself at the moment but the master paid no attention to her as she was engrossed in the fight and not just that, she wasn't herself at the moment. Her eyes had turned green and her body was rigid and no one seemed to notice it.
Master A knew at this moment, that she had to stop the fight right away. She couldn't let Titan be found out. She immediately walked down to the tournament field but before she could get close, Zagan hugged Titan and vanished. She was left stupefied. Not only her all the audience were surprised as well.
Master A stood in the middle of the tournament field for a while. She was surprised but still grateful that no one would have to see Titan like that. As if remembering something, she instinctively turned to look at the top area of the field and discovered that the strange woman was gone. Her expression darkened. And when she looked further, she saw something written on the wall. It was a cross sign.
