Changing the Future

The two women were more than a little shocked after seeing the image in the mirror. Their eyes were wide as they looked at one another. A simple experiment had led to the discovery of something that they should not know. 

"So, what do you do when you see something like this?" Aisling spoke up first. 

"I don't know. In the temple, the seers do not care about the outcome. They just prepare a report and give the client. The end." Shekansha's voice trembled a little. 

Aisling had seen a lot of visions in her time, but none had been so gruesome. Most of the time, when she helped the Sentinels find a killer, she got the information from nature spirits. It could not be compared with the image she had seen. 

Even though it was not as clear as the others, she could not deny the reality of it. She could remember the details of the vision. And she could see that the falling Samiel was dead in that vision. She could almost hear that death calling her to scream.
