Subjugation of the mountain clan

She spoke " Leave this place knight or it will be a grave for you and your men ." she spoke in a great arrogant voice .

huh ? what kinda negotiation is this . Doesn't she understands what kind of a situation there in ? And where is the fucking introductions ?

"Unfortunately me and my Men's here can not leave until we eradicate you people . So are you the current chief of the howler clan ? " I asked .

" I'm Mira daughter of previous chief ulf . And no I'm not the chief . And state your terms and leave ." she replied . But I'm confused by her guts . And where the hell is her confidence coming from ? Though I can understand that she has very bad negotiation skill .

"Well ....Mira, daughter of previous chief ulf I'm Ser Alan Winters and currently in service of house Waynwood and commander of this expedition force . And I suggest that you inform your chief that we demand surrender . Or tomorrow we will slaughter all your men's and we will take children and woman's with us that survives . But we will spare you all if you and your clan members kneels before Lord Wynewood ." This is all I can say to her and hoped they surrender .

"We ain't gonna lay down our wapons to anyone and we ain't gonna kneel to your cowered Lord . And we will settle this right now with a fight to death . Tell your men that to go back where they came from if you died ."

Seriously ? that's her plans ? " Well I do like that very much and it will quickly speed up everything . But can you say the same that to your people ? Because you already told me that your not the chief and I believe you do not have right to make a decision like that . Also i still would like to fight but with a man not a woman ." I simply told her and oh ...boy that really pissed her of . And imidiatly she attacked me with the hammer of hers, But I was quick and caught her hand and pinned her down to ground .

She struggled in my hands and then I heard another voice shouted . And I looked that way and saw a very old woman with a cane is coming us to with ten or so young boys behind her " Stop young man please don't hurt her we will surrender to you and do not want any more bloodshed . " spoke the old crone .

Ah.... finally someone with a brain . So when she came close to us I imidiatly understood that this is the warg that harrassed us with her birds and animals and made use of them to strike us at our weak points . Very impressive indeed !

Then the negotiation started . They are willing to surrender and bend the knees . But that would have to be done here . So we dispatched massanger to Morton and it will take a week for him to arrive here . So With the free time in my hand I started to inspect this place and also learn how could they survive in a place like this ?

Though I must admit that this place is well hidden a protected by the terrain . And this people gather foods from there surrounding area , And they mostly eat the wild life . But I can tell that this place has lots resources as well . So I will suggest Morton to put great investment on this place .

I also learned that the ambush leader that I killed few months ago was actually the son of this old crone . She served as a great advisor for chief of clan howlers for many years .

But her son usurped against the previous chief ulf and killed him with same valerian steel sword .And stayed in power almost 10 years. Though he wasn't a good leader but a brute , And this old woman who did the most Job . And Mira was raised by this old lady.

That's explained lots of things .

And because they surrenderd we gave them lots of our food supply and they also showed us where they get there water .

They do hold a lots of grudges but I also know that they can't do anything about it . Because

70% of there male is dead and all is left is woman's and children and some old folks .

And old crone did pursued everyone to do this or they will be killed if they do something stupid .

And thus everything gone very smoothly and some of the members of this army actually getting along with the woman's from this village . And ironically we also had some marriage ceremony too .

Then Morton arrived with the Maester in tow .

And I could see how happy he was by this . Why wouldn't he be ? He's the first lord to do something like this . And he's name will spread like wildfire troughout the Vale.

Everything is done in very good fashion and the mountain clan's kneeled before him and sworn to serve there house . And he will take half of the boys and girls as hostage as to insure they stay loyal . And with my suggestion he will be building a keep here for his younger brother and a simple road to connect to his main territory . Also he will send lots of small folks to live here permanently . Though I can tell that at least hundreds of men from the army is already making this place there home . And 5 knights from house wynewood will be staying here to keep the peace . We also arranged a marriage for young Donnell with one of old crone's original granddaughter . And they will formed a new branch house . And will be known as house wynewood of Howlers .

So now everything is completed we will live this place tomorrow morning .

But first I need to get a nice shower .
