Chapter 10: Supernatural Leverage

"What do you want from me?" She asked him devastatingly. She bowed her head despite the terror she felt within.

"I... I am in a hurry! A–and if you don't need something then leave me alone!"

Halora pretended to be strong enough to stand on her feet. But, "Don't act like you don't need this." Seb was holding a paper bag.

Inside of it was a pair of PE uniforms that will fit perfectly with her. He then looked behind and said, "Leave us alone for the meantime. I will accompany her to the comfort room,"

The nine gang members nodded and replied, "Same time, same place, Young Master!" Daniel winked at him as he looked upon Seb.

Halora narrowed her eyes when she felt his heavy arms on her shoulders. She was uncomfortable with his actions and made her heartbeat too fast and deafening.

"Don't try to run away, I won't hesitate to kiss you right here and right now!" He whispered with a smile on his face.

She widened her eyes, gulped, and looked away from his deep gaze. She has no choice but to let him do whatever he wanted to do.

As they walked towards the school's comfort room, most of the students turned their heads and watched over them from a distance.

But Sebastian Woo ignored the gossips that spread throughout the entire campus.

"Ew! Is that Sebastian and Halora, the poor girl?"

"Yucks! She looked like a mess! And why she's with the campus bad boy?"

Too many deep, and painful words yet Halora chose to ignore them. She embraced herself and looked at the man who silently walking with her.

For almost two decades living on Earth, Hermione never felt such a warm and tender feeling in her heart. She never felt safe, comfortable with someone's presence and even touch!

She was secretly staring at his beautiful eyes that have made her weak and hypnotized.

"Thank you," she said and quickly looked straight to the empty hallway.

"Pardon?" Seb asked her shortly but she shook her head and replied, "No–nothing! Per–perhaps you heard something el–"

He suddenly held her shoulders and pinned her to the wall. Sebastian put his hands on the fence and threw a deep stare at the girl before him.

"Don't make me angry! Tell me, what did you say!"

Words were said simply. But she couldn't open her mouth and surrender to him easily, "Look into my eyes and tell me wh–"

Sebastian Woo paused and widened his eyes. He could feel something that electrified his system and made his pulse stopped beating.

"So–sorry for that but I just want to thank you for always saving my life! For protecting me from Sandra and her evil friends!"

Halora explained to avoid misunderstanding. What she did is just only a simple act to extend her gratitude for him. "I know it doesn't even matter to you but you are my fi–first...,"

"Riiiiiing!"

The bell rang as it sounded off around the hallway. Sebastian cursed and rubbed his nape, "Give me your hand," he told her seriously and tried to forget Halora's soft lips touched on his right cheek.

Confusingly, she gave her hand as she felt his warm touched that seeped deep into her soul.

"Don't ever let go of my hand," he whispered.

As they run quickly, like they were chased by thousands of enemies, Halora smiled secretly.

Until Seb stopped in front of the classroom and saw Mr. Yang, Hermione's English Teacher.

"Mr. Woo, what brought you here?" He said, looking at who was behind him. "And who's hiding at your back?"

Mr. Yang noticed Halora's skirt as he concluded that a girl was standing right behind him. "Ah– ah, Mr. Ya–yang...," Sebastian stuttered for the first time.

He never stuttered before even in front of the school's Principal. He has summoned thousands of times yet, he never showed to everyone any trace of fear and panic.

"May I excuse Halora from your class? She still needs to change because of Sandra's childish deed!" He gritted his teeth as he explained to Mr. Yang.

He never knew that all of the teachers have an emergency meeting for the entire morning.

Mr. Yang tapped his shoulder and replied, "All of you have no classes for this morning, and I am only here to get my laptop from my desk," he paused.

"And one more thing, ignore the bell earlier, it must be a mistake." Mr. Yang smiled at Sebastian which made him sighed in relief.

"That's good to hear then! And I hate attending classes!" He whispered but Halora heard him and secretly pinched his waist.

She felt ashamed of themselves as Mr. Yang still standing right before them. "Hurry up! You're too noisy, campus bad boy!"

Despite being a mess, Halora couldn't stop herself from smiling genuinely. She never thought she would see herself doing it after losing her beloved parents.

Since she met Sebastian Woo, her life changed and she started to live happily like she used to be.

Halora's life was miserable, tested by her faith along the process. And in the middle of accepting the ugly truth, she was left behind by the woman she adores the most.

"Why don't you comb your hair first before coming out?" He told her, looking up and down at Halora. "Make it fast! I am too hungry waiting for you!"

Sebastian was checking the time and realized that he's been standing for about a half-hour now.

He hated it, yet, he stayed outside of the girl's comfort room until he heard someone screamed and asked for help.

"Halora?"

"HALORA!"

Sebastian called her name but no one answered. He then entered and looked for her until he noticed a woman who was standing in front of the mirror.

She was wearing a long, black robe. Her hair was black and rested at her waist and there was something suspicious broom on her right hand.

"Who are you?" He narrowed his eyes and tried to see her face but the woman moved her arm upward.

Sebastian heard a loud noise and realized that the light blue exploded.

Who is the woman he saw inside of the girl's comfort room? And what happened to Halora as she stayed for so long inside of the cubicle?

How long he will stay at her side when there's a hidden truth about Halora's past?

Would a young, bad boy who possessed supernatural leverage choose to protect her despite the danger that awaits, or would he rather abandon Halora..., again?
