Diana's P. O. V
After the slide, the girls and I were asked to wait outside the gym room and let the adults talk it through. Seeing the girls again after the fallout made me very nolstagic and a lot of memories came flooding right back.
"Am sorry. If I had put my foot down then none of this extra drama wouldn't be happening." I blurted out, finally getting enough balls to say it out.
"Don't be, it was us and our damn stubbornness!. You're a great captain." Jasmine surprisingly said, speaking on behalf of the team.
"We're sorry for pushing you too hard Trisha." Ella admitted, getting all teary eyed for no reason. They circled around Trisha, taking turns and apologising to her.
"Let's make a pact, no matter what the outcome is, we won't back down from competing at nationals. We're a good team and this is a golden opportunity." I announced, sticking my hand out to finalise it. The girls were up for it, though it seemed childish and very cliché.
