Blood Stallion

Warrior swiftly turned around, I could still see the man that I gutted a moment before trying to catch his insides that spilled out and put them back in. Funny!

I looked at the last big man in front, he turned his horse around as well and started shouting.

Yeah yeah fuck your mama as well.

I had no idea what he was saying, but it looked like he was challenging me to a duel... I mean we were already fighting so... never mind.

I patted my horse making him neigh in delight, we were like a single entity so no words or orders were needed for him to move.

We rode faster than my opponent giving him less time to react to our actions.

From what it looked like from the big swing of his right arm holding an arakh he wanted to split me in half, all muscle and no brain.

We were charging at each other I was on his right side when he was facing me, as he was on my, but just before we were beside each other Warrior changed sides so now I was on his left, good boy.

The poor man didn't have the time to swap arms, his eyes showed his surprise when he tried to move his weapon to defend. No way I'm going to give him time for that.

Looking at his build I don't have the option of slashing, his muscles will just stop my blow. That's why I pierced most of my enemies, I was just too weak.

I could only slash soft tissue and that too with enough momentum behind the swing, he's probably more experienced than I am so that leaves me with only one option.

Warrior was so close to his horse that my and his leg was almost crashed. Almost.

I leaned my body to the left as my shoulder and his body rammed into each other and I wrapped my left arm around him. With my left arm taking him off the horse with my momentum, my right pointed my sword at his heart.

The force of impact pushed all the air out of me and we entangled while faling onto the ground with a spin.

I'm sure I was out of it for a moment as my head was spinning, I felt the chill inside my body as something cold was flowing from my face covering my left eye red. Nice!

I will have another battle scar. Why am I thinking of something so stupid as that now? Concussion?

I couldn't focus my sight on anything, my body hurt, but it was still alright, nothing a few days of rest won't fix. Hopefully.

I shook my head from side to side and pushed my arms trying to lift my body up, I could feel the warmth leaving the corpse I landed on.

My left shoulder hurt, but it seems that my armor absorbed most of the impact.

I have to admit that wasn't one of my brightest ideas, but the danger I felt from the man was not a laughing matter as well.

Still. If it's stupid, but it works then it's not stupid! Army quotes to the rescue.

I started to get rid of the ringing in my ears and heard people shouting around me, I felt my red friend pushing his nose and bumping into the back on my head as I was still on all four on the body below me.

I heard sporadic shouts and could feel Warrior jumping around, but a moment later it was quiet again.

Now it's better, I lifted my head and saw two men on the ground, one with deformed parts of his head and the other with unnaturally bend arm the second wailing on the ground.

I pulled out my dagger and slowly wobbled to the downed Dothraki screamer with Warrior behind me.

I grabbed the wailing man's head from behind by his braid with my hurting left arm revealing his throat.

I placed my blade on his throat and moved my right hand opening it slowly as his body trembled.

No more screaming from this one.

"My lord!", "My lord!" Came the shouts from the group that I didn't knew when arrived and I could see the worried face of Ser Arthur as he came to me just like myself covered in blood.

"It's not a bad day to start our adventure aye Ser Arthur?" I laughed, but choked on something in my throat a second later.

I spit out the blood that gathered there and felt a lot better.

Only now did I saw that the battle stopped and the Dothraki were just standing there looking at me motionless.

My elites joined us and formed a shield wall around me, but it didn't seem like the Khalasar wanted to fight anymore.

"Did anyone see my sword?" If I'm not mistaken it should be somewhere around here.

I shouted like nothing happened and saw one of my elites pull it out from the dead body and bringing it to me. Good man.

"So... what now?" I asked pointing at the gathered Dothraki standing there.

I couldn't hear anymore fighting so I guess that's a good sign.

Maybe someone killed the Khal, but if so his blood riders would want revenge. We will have to find the man quickly.

"I thought you had a plan little one?" Noya wiped her daggers from blood and observed the situation.

"I did, but it didn't involved them just standing around." I was really clueless, good thing that one of the Dothraki riders stepped out.

I watched the man walking slowly to us with his hands up, when Warrior blocked his way and stood up on his hind legs again loudly neighing at the man.

I saw my riders slowly gathering and from the looks of it, it's better than I thought it would be.

The man dropped to his knees and shouted "Jin Virzeth!" Shit. I still can't speak their language, I am almost fluent in high and low Valyrian so at least now we know what will be my next subject to learn.

"Anyone here can speak common tongue?" Ser Artur asked while looking around.

"I can!" an old man came up with few boys with rusted weapons such as short spears and knifes guarding him.

I say guarding, but the most they could do is probably buy him only few seconds and from looking at his age and body he wouldn't run too far.

"Great! We're the Winter Company hired by Lhazar for protection. It seems that we will need a raise!" I pointed at the dead attackers all around me.

The man was surprised for a moment seeing a child giving orders, but to his defense it's not a common sight, especially since I was covered in fresh blood... and alive after the battle.

"Thank you... We would be honored to host you but..." He looked at the kneeling man that was observing me all the time while Warrior was walking around him making the poor soul tremble from fear.

My red jokester is the best and I could feel that he was having fun scaring the poor guy by exhaling on him from time to time.

"Do you know what he's saying?" I looked at the old man.

"He said "The red"." I didn't understand and looked around to my men, but they only shook their heads.

I really need to take someone smart with me and not only great at killing next time... Missandei would be perfect, but she's still too young and probably just started learning.

I looked at the kneeling Dothraki and moved to him with a steady step stopping just a meter in front of the kneeling man.

"Can you speak common tongue?" I looked as he shook his head indicating that he didn't understand.

He just shouted "Goyi Vezhof! Goyi Vezhof!" and bowed down.

I was really speechless when the group of Dothraki behind him did the same and it spread like a waive and soon all the previous attackers keeled in front of me.

I looked back at the old man waiting for his answer as it looked like he knew the language.

"They are calling you the Blood Stallion..." He seemed scared now.

"You heard that Warrior? You're The Red now and I'm Blood Stallion! haha" I laughed as Warrior seemed to like his new name as well.

I don't know if they called him that because of his color or the blood covering him but it matched perfectly.

"Great, what now? Do they want to surrender or something?" I again looked at the knowledgeable man who was hesitating.

"It... I-it means that you are their Khal now..." He whispered.

"Oh! It means that I'm their K...h..a.l." Well. Fuck me sideways.
