Chapter 12

[A/N:I will be posting 1 or 2 chapters a week.In the next draft I had written a lemon scene which was mostly because of Landon's appearance.]

Elijah who was silent till now asked"What happened to this Golem?"Alex shrugged and replied"Well from what I read from my Grimoire it stated that this golem over time, realized he was alone and fashioned beings like him, his children in a sense. However, the beings that he created were imperfect and flawed and none of them had his powers. They all had weaknesses and all were sterile, unable to reproduce and continue his legacy.I don't know what happened but in 1527 one of its so-called children betrayed it by telling the original human follower's descendants that Malivore is creating a new species and breaking the order of nature and he led them to Malivore and with help of witches, who used black magic and three artifacts, trapped him and dissolved him, returning him to his natural state — a black pit. The three locks keep Malivore bound, unable to take form, while the pit retained the same properties as Malivore. "

Marcel asked, "Kid do you know where the pit is?"Alex shook his head and replied, "I don't know where this pit is since my grimoire pretty much stops there."

The Mikealson's and others soon discussed about this as Hope dragged Alex to her room as both first were discussing about returning to Salvatore boarding school as Hope with slight excitement asked,"You know, you never showed me your Dark Fey form?"

Alex smiled as started to transform as he spread his large wings and two horns grew on his head. Hope seeing the transformation was in awe as she slowly went and touched his wings Alex was okay with it as they were still in Hope's room as his wings knocked a few things down so he turned back to his human form which caused Hope to pout as laughed Alex sat down on the bed and pulled Hope on to his lap and said,"I will show you my form when we are outside, okay."

Hope nodded as they were so close as Alex couldn't control himself as he leaned and captured Hope's lips as she returned the kiss with the same level of passion as things were about to get too passionate as they heard a cough as it was Hailey who was looking at them with a grin as Hope instantly pulled away from Alex and as she asked: "Mom, did you want something?"

Hailey shook her head and replied, "Nothing just wanted check upon, you are lucky it was not your father."Hailey then went downstairs as Alex questioned, "You know we were close to doing it? were you sure about it?"

Hope in confusion questioned, "why are asking all this?"Hope thought normally boys would have been ecstatic about this as Alex replied, "I just wanted to make sure you won't regret it in the future."

Hope nodded and once again sat on Alex's lap as she replied, "Don't worry I thought about this before and it's not something I would regret."Hope loved and trusted Alex with her life and the things he did for her only strengthened those feelings.

Alex smiled hearing that as both of them decided to do it some other time as Alex decided not force her and he changed the topic and discussed their return back to Salvatore Boarding school as both of them decided to return in 2 weeks. The next day Alex found himself posing as Hope painted a portrait of him as he questioned"How did you even get me to do this?."Hope with a sweet and innocent smile replied"Like this."

Alex groaned and wanted to look away as the look was really lethal as Hope smiled seeing this from time to time she then started teaching me painting as a way to pay me back for teaching her all the spells as Alex had no previous experience with painting as he in practical terms he sucked seeing his stick figures Hope to hold in her laughter seeing as Alex looked away in embarrassment as Hope smiled and said: "Hey it's not bad after all it is your first time."

While Klaus pretty much guessed what had happened and was glaring at Alex as he was having dinner with their family. Alex ignored it over the next week as he started to teach Hope some spells from Merlin like Elemental spells, Animation spells..etc, and from Sorcerer's apprentice Ectoplasm Trap and Plasma bolt.

While Alex in his free time he prepared a suitcase with an extension charm similar to Newt Scamander and kept the Grimhold there, he even copied some of the history, monster information, rituals, and spells to different books arranged on shelves inside the suitcase which was locked with his magical signature and he then readied himself for the ritual to awaken his bloodline as Hope wanted to see the awakening process as Alex slowly raised his hands, gathering a large amount of energy causing the wind to pick up. Once enough amount of energy has been accumulated, he then seems about to place both of his palms against one another before throwing them violently upwards causing flames to erupt from the ground around him which startled Hope as she then saw Alex wave his hands around like painting as magic circle was drawn on the ground with the fire.

Once he finished carving the circle he looked at Hope and said seriously "Hope whatever you do not enter the circle when the ritual is taking place."Hope was worried but nodded as Alex then started to chant"et ortus est cinere expergisci a phoenix"

As the flames changed to pure black then enveloped Alex as Hope in fear yelled"Alex" she tried to go and douse the flames but she felt a boundary spell around her unable to do anything she fell on her knees in despair as the flames then suddenly shot into the sky like a giant black phoenix which gave a screech as Hope who was in tears till saw this muttered"You bloody idiot?"

The phoenix landed on the ground and transformed back to Alex who had all his clothes burned away he also noticed his wings had flames dancing over it as he quickly turned to his human form and conjured himself some clothes as Hope ran and hugged him and then suddenly slapped him on the face while saying"You idiot,I thought I lost you for good."

Alex winced and soft tone replied"Sorry about that."Hope nodded as she quickly pulled him into the kiss as both pulled away she whispered"Don't do that to me ever again."Alex just nodded and hugged her. Alex felt bad and wanted to cheer Hope us as he cast Patronus charm which took the shape of a bright-silver, translucent phoenix which started flying around Hope who watched it with awe as Alex just watched her with a smile on his face.
