One peaceful day in Aegis's office where Aegis himself was almost finishing his day of work and enjoying relaxing massage of his shoulders and head from Iris gentle and firm hands his peace was disturbed from video call from none other than Atlas Military head and member of council General James Ironwood...

After looking at the beeping signal for some time and considering just ignoring it, Iris finally spoke.

"Boss, wouldn't it be bad just to ignore such a call?"

Iris spoke as she was considering the consequences of ignoring a call from one of the most critical people in Atlas and Remnant as a whole.

"Bad? Hmm, it truly would be bad, wouldn't it?"

Aegis said as his hand moved at a snail pace towards the button...

And Iris immediately knew that her boss does it on purpose and at the same time enjoying it...

Iris didn't know what General has done, but it seemed that it annoyed her boss enough to act so childishly...

Finally, Aegis pressed the call button and was greeted by a red-faced general who was almost literally funning flames from his mouth...

"AEGIS! Immediately release my men!"

General said in an enraged moment, and Aegis again thought how impractical it was to have just one military head in the kingdom...

"I do not know what you speak about general, and I think my memory is working good enough for me to know if I was holding soldiers of Atlas kingdom."

Aegis said, feigning ignorance with an innocent smile as he enjoyed seeing the General, who was always trying to throw sticks under his foot in such a state...

"Do not play games with me, Schnee! I want you to immediately release four of my soldiers you illegally hold in your captivity!"

General said and Iris, who was even now massaging Aegis's shoulders on his orders, knew immediately why her boss was acting as such...

General said as he finally calmed himself and tried to play Altlas safety card...

"Careful GeneralGeneral, what you are saying could be taken as very racist offense as the places your dear subordinates were caught are places full of faunus personnel... My SDC dear faunus personnel."

Aegis said as he slowly opened his eyes to look directly at General who even after years of dealing with politicians, Grimm, and all sort of dregs of life little froze at the contrast of smiling Aegis face but eyes that General saw just in people who you wouldn't want to have an enemy...

"Schnee, be careful about what you speak, you are still just Atlas citizen, and I, as Atlas general and Councilman, can take you as criminal for taking my men."

General said, and Aegis just chuckled.

"IF that was the case, dear general, you would already do it. Alas, you clearly don't want to let other council members know about your little shadow plays and General."

Aegis said with a cold chuckle but continued.

"You forget that im, not my father. As my might supplies my arrogance..."

Aegis said, and GeneralGeneral almost felt as if Atlas was a slightly trembling...

Aegis just looked at general fearful eyes and continued.

"Your men will be released GeneralGeneral... But if in future I catch any other mice in my garden, I will exterminate them without question, so be careful GeneralGeneral as this is last time I was lenient to you..."

Aegis said, and Ironwood's face contorted again in rage.

"Schne-"

Ironwood continued, but Aegis cut him in the middle, speaking.

"Ironwood! I showed you enough face, but you didn't show me any! You think that you can do anything you desire! So let me get this straight through your thick head Ironwood, You Are There To Protect Us, Not To Rule Us! You are firstly GeneralGeneral, then Headmaster and then Politician! Aegis said as he canceled the call and slumped on his seat...

Iris said with a mischievous smile as she massaged the boy's back. No, not a boy but a man who had given her freedom she constantly desired...
