It didn’t come, though, I could hear a dull thud hitting against something, I looked up and saw that I was encased in a huge ball. My breath coming out like a white cloud as I breathed out. I looked towards where the thud was coming from, it wasn’t the wolves, it was a small bird, with a slender-looking beak. It was knocking against the ball of ice, its red feathers ruffled up, as though it was angry at something. Tap

I waved my hand, expecting my hand to hit something solid, but as soon I felt the cold against my hand it was gone, there was no trace of water or the ice around.

I stood up, slowly turning towards the sound of the clapping. There she stood, completely dressed in a dark purple gown that looked like it was meant for one of those fancy ball things. She stood there smiling, no smirking at me, and running her finger along her lip before she started to move towards me.
