Apocalyptic (2)

Selena turned towards Shiro while facepalming to cool down the way her heart was beating at the moment.

  She had never felt this scared in her entire life. Her heart was just like a tightened bow, stretched to its limit and ready to snap.

  She has already broken into a cold sweat as she tried to steady herself and ask for Shiro's help. Shiro had also brought his phone with him. It had been in his pocket the whole while and he didn't discover that until they had reached here. 

Their friend had pointed it out while they were stretched on the concrete floor, panting after they had been running the whole time, escaping life-threatening instances and making it to the top of the building which housed a barricade. 

The barricade defended them all the time but that did not mean that it wouldn't be broken through if the monsters came in their multitude and pushed at it once.
