Chapter 60: Isolation

Thing One and Thing Two came to give their weekly reports "The Mafia King is furious with his Queen right now."

Julia scoffed "What? I thought he worshiped the ground she walks on."

"He is angry that she went behind his back, used his resources, and overpowered his authority by attacking your shipments." Thing Two informed.

"King is angry huh. When a door reveals itself it's best to open it." I thought to myself.

"Well Thing One and Thing Two make sure you do your jobs properly I would hate to have to clean your mess." Layla said mockingly.

Thing One stood in front of her provokingly "That's funny that you would say that, because if you were capable of handling the situation from the beginning, we wouldn't be standing here."
