"Sometimes, I think what will be our lives if Jayden is still with us." I said that in the middle of the silence so both Eula and Simon turned quiet. "Julie?" Eula asked worriedly and leaned slightly away from me. I know they are not still used to me being able to talk about what happened before. Especially that it brought us into our different nightmares.

"It's okay, Eula. I'm very much fine right now. I just can't help but think what and where he can be. Can he see us? Is he happy? Is he and Devoree together now?" I said that with mixed sadness but the guilt is not the same as before.

Before, I considered Jayden as my greatest guilt so I had a hard time accepting the second life given to me. And the fact that I am the descendant of their child bothers me more than anyone. In my whole life, I am not expecting to meet my great great great grandfather and have him to save me.
