The Sect Leader of Xing Sect was completely stunned by the Heaven Emperor's words.

He instructed Xiaoyun to continue managing the Heaven Emperor's wardrobe, a duty originally designated for Gu Chaoyan. However, Gu Chaoyan had been appointed by the Heaven Emperor himself for this task.

The Sect Leader of Xing Sect found himself bewildered by the sudden turn of events. Puzzled, he looked at the Heaven Emperor and questioned, "What should we do with Gu Chaoyan? Should we send her back to the back mountain?"

With no alternative plan in mind, the Sect Leader couldn't fathom any other resolution. Gu Chaoyan had not committed any wrongdoing; it was Xiaoyun's desire to take on the responsibility. Consequently, if Xiaoyun were to assume the role, Gu Chaoyan would have no place within the Xing Sect. The only plausible option seemed to be sending her back to the back mountain.
