Chapter 19: Problems

We all met at Emily's house and waited for Sam and Paul to get there.

"Emily what's going on?" I burst in the front door.

"I don't know." Emily rushed from the kitchen.

"I hope Paul's ok I swear if anything happened to him I'll kill someone." I was panicking.

"It's ok, Paul knows how to handle himself." Emily reassured.

Just then we heard a howl coming from outside. All of us rushed out and met at the opening. I saw Paul walking out from the opening and I ran to him and jumped in his arms.

"Are you ok?" I quickly added.

"I'm fine." Paul hugged me tight.

"Ok well what's going on?" I asked releasing from the hug and looked at Sam.

"It's the Cullens, their back." Sam spoke.

"Why are they back?" I asked.

"This red head blood sucker is after her I guess and she is coming for revenge." Sam added.

"But what does that have to do with us?" I snapped.

"We have to protect everyone this new red head isn't like the Cullens." Sam spoke.

"I swear all that girl is trouble, I wish she would have just went with the Cullens and never came back." I spat.

"Candice don't talk about Bella like that." Jake snapped.

"Jacob don't snap at me." I snapped.

"I can do whatever I want, and I love her so don't talk about her like that." Jacob growled.

"Jacob it's not like you imprinted on the blood sucker lover anyway." I spat.

"So I still love her and I had her she was going to forget about Edward and be mine." Jacob yelled.

"No she wasn't that's just what you think she used you Jake you gave her the attention she needed and she took you for granted and look where is she now, cause I know she isn't here with you now is she nope she's with Edward the guy she actually loves." I growled.

"She loves me I know she does." Jake growled back.

"No she doesn't she loves the attention you giver her she doesn't love you, and she is just going to keep hurting you, and look you have an imprint, you imprinted on Leah, did you even ask her how she feels about this." I yelled.

"Jake." Someone called from the woods.

"Bella?" Jacob questioned.

With that Bella emerged from the woods and stood looking at all of us.

"What do you want?" I spat.

"I wanted to talk to Jacob." She looked at the ground.

"No get out of her, he imprinted on Leah and he is with his forever person and you have Edward go back to him and stop hurting Jacob, all you do is make things worse." I growled slowly walking towards Bella.

"No Candice it's fine." Leah spoke.

"Leah you know I'm right." I spoke.

"I You are right but this isn't our decision so if Jacob wants to go with her then let him go." Leah sighed.

"Fine, but listen Jacob when this bitch hurts you again don't come running back to me telling me I was right and your sorry." I spat at Jacob and walked and stood by Paul.

"Go ahead Jacob make your choice." Leah looked at Jacob.

"I'm sorry Leah but I have to protect her it's our duty." Jacob spoke.

"Your right it is our duty to protect Bella and we will, we are going to meet with the Cullens and figure out a plan to keep Bella safe." Sam interrupted.

No one spoke. I looked at Leah who I could tell was hurt she was hurt by her imprint and I know that it hurts like hell. Jacob didn't even look at Leah he just starred at Bella like she was the only person there.

"Well I will be at the meeting but I need to take a walk before I rip this girl limb by limb." I spoke and glared at Bella.

"The meeting is at 6 at the treaty line don't be late." Sam spoke.

"Yes sir I'll be there." I nodded my head.

I started to walk into the woods and Paul followed.

"Please don't I need to be by myself for a little bit, it's nothing to do with you it's I don't want to take my anger out on you." I smiled and kissed Paul's cheek.

Paul nodded and headed back to Emily's.

I walked and walked farther into the woods until I finally looked up and I was at Jacob's house. He was with Bella at her house because I couldn't smell him anywhere on the reservation. Just as I turned to walk back into the woods I heard my name.

"Candice wait up." Billy shouted from the door.

I could never ignore Billy so I turned around and walked up to the door.

"What a nice surprise Jacob isn't home he's." Billy spoke before I cut him off.

"He's with Bella I know." I smiled.

"What's wrong Candice?" Billy asked touching my hand.

"It's nothing." I spoke not looking at Billy.

"I know your lying please come inside." Billy spoke softly.

I just nodded and Billy and I went inside and went to the living room.

"Hey so what's wrong, talk to me you know I'm always here for you." Billy pleaded.

"It's Jake." I spoke softly.

"What did he do this time?" Billy asked.

"I don't know if you know or not but he imprinted on Leah Clearwater and they were doing great until we were called from school and we found out that this red head girl is coming after Bella and we have to protect her, then Bella appeared out of no where and asked to talk to Jake. I yelled at her and I told Jake that she just loves the attention he gives her and that she is going to choose Edward every time no questions asked. I feel bad but she is the cause of all our problems, Leah is hurt because Jake chooses Bella over and over, I'm hurt because I hate seeing him cry over Bella every time. All this girl does is ruin the packs bond and I am so sick and tired of her." I explained and had tears coming down my cheeks.

"Don't cry it's all going to play out Jacob and Leah are imprints and nothing can change that and Jacob just doesn't want to come to the conclusion that Bella will never choose him and he will soon realize it. So don't worry and I know you didn't mean to hurt Jake's feelings but it had to be said. So don't cry it'll all play out I promise." Billy reassured and rubbed my hand softly.

"Thanks Billy you always know what to say." I wiped my tears and smiled.

"I'm always here, and by the way how's everything with Paul?" Bill y smiled.

"Great Paul wants to start a family after graduation." I laughed.

"That's a good idea new pups running around." Billy smiled.

"Yeah I love Paul but I have a feeling in my gut something bad is going to happen not with us but something is going to happen to the pack and it's been bugging me so I'm constantly worried something happened to Paul or the rest of the pack." I sighed.

"What do you mean something bad?" Bill questioned.

"I don't know just something in my gut says something is going to happen but maybe I'm just over thinking." I sighed.

"Always trust you gut but for know don't worry it'll be ok." Billy reassured.

"Thank you Billy for this." I smiled.

Just then I heard Bella's truck coming up the road.

"I have tog o Billy I hear Bella and Jake coming, thank you for everything and I'll visit next week I promise." I smiled getting up.

"Thank you for talking to me and I'll see you next week." Billy smiled and waved me goodbye.

I ran out of Billy's as fast as I could to make sure Jake or Bella didn't see me, once I hit the woods I phased.

"Anyone here?" I questioned.

"Yeah, just me." Seth answered.

"Where you at?" I asked.

"The cliff were we dive." He answered.

"I'm almost there stay there." I answered.
