The Truth

After the eye escaped, Yuno, Mimosa, and Klaus showed up. There wasn't anything to talk about other than what happened during the attack. Instead of staying in Nean and doing nothing all day long, Madara decided to go back to the hideout.

He had some business to take care of. Madara didn't feel like flying, so he used spatial magic to instantly be at the hideout. Of course, he brought Secre along. Why would he leave her?

Madara burst into the cafeteria, and like always, he saw Charmy eating. The look of his eyes said it all. Charmy's sheep cooks made a large feast. Both Madara and Charmy are it all in less than an hour.

After Madara was done eating, he took a long bath. In the bath, he thought about his sun magic and the rest of his magic.

'Is it because I copied it? Will the same that applies to Rhya, apply to me?' Madara thought.

Ryha could copy any magic that he wanted to but still lost to a mastered fire user. Because? The magic he copied wasn't his actual magic. He just stole someone else's magic and used it against them.

'So unless I master every element I've copied, I will lose to a mastered user of the magic?' Unanswered questions were running through Madaras' mind.

After about half an hour, Madara decided he was clean and left the bath. He put on some clean clothes and headed to the royal capital. Madara knew the Purple Orcas' captain was the traitor along with William, and himself.

If he told Julius that the captain of the Purple Orcas' was the traitor, he would most likely ask for him to show him the evidence.

Of course, he didn't have evidence, but the ones locked up had enough evidence stored in their minds. How was he going to get that information without Asta's anti-magic? He has an ability called the Sharingan.

While walking through Kikka or the Common Realm, people respectfully bowed to Madara for saving their lives. It was a new feeling and he couldn't deny that having the respect of the people was a great feat.

Madara then made his way to where Julius would reside. Madara looked through the window to see, Julius concentrating on some paperwork.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Julius looked up to see a levitating Madara. Madara knew the windows couldn't open, so he wanted Julius to know that he was here. He didn't want to have to ki- deal with any guards.

Julius let Madara inside, and Madara at the very least could say he was impressed. Comparing the hideout to the castle, the castle was better.

Everything was clean, it smelled good, the furniture was better, the walls weren't dirty, and it wasn't a mess. It was overall better, but he would choose the hideout over the castle any day.

"So... What brings you here?" Julius asked sitting on the golden chair while looking at the standing Madara.

"By now, you should have realized that there is a traitor among us," Madara said catching Julius's interest.

"Yes, I have. We are now working on the matter. Now, what brings you here?" Julius asked suspiciously.

"Do I have to answer that question? We both know the answer." Madara said sighing at Julius's question.

"You know, who the traitor is... How did you get such information? You aren't a traitor yourself, are you?" Julius said, staring intently at Madara.

"You know, I would never betray this lovely kingdom," Madara said sarcastically.

"Hmmm, if you know who it is, you are free to tell me," Julius said, preparing himself for any name that came out of Madaras' mouth.

"Before I tell you, I have a request. I don't want you to call them out until tomorrow and I want you to hold a conference with the captains." Madara said making Julius sigh.

"We were planning to have Asta remove the mind barrier on the members of The Eye of the Midnight Sun, but I'm guessing you found a way to look through their memories without Asta," Julius said, interlocking his hands, and putting his forearms on the desk.

"Indeed," Madara said, making Julius curious once again.

"I have to ask, how are you going to do it?" Julius asked curiously. Madara only smirked at this question.

"I trust you with the knowledge of my abilities. Although, it would be easier to show you. I will not search your memories, but I will show you your desires." Madara said, as his eyes turned blood red. Julius and Madara made direct eye contact, and he was caught in his genjutsu.

Madara found out that Julius is one weird guy. His deepest desire was to see every magic ever discovered and undiscovered. Honestly, his obsession was nothing more than a fetish.

Madara canceled his genjutsu and Julius was returned to the real world. Julius looked around for a second, then looked to Madara in awe.

"What an amazing ability! How do you possess just an ability?!" Julius asked with stars in his eyes.

"God gave it to me," Madara said, telling the truth.

"I see. You're a man of God. It's always good to have faith." Julius said, making Madara sigh in response.

"Now, for the real reason, I came here. The traitor among us is..." Madara said, making Julius extremely anxious.

"The Captain of the Purple Orcas', Gueldre Poizot," Madara said, making Julius's eyes widen for a moment.

"Are you sure about this?" Julius asked in slight denial.

"Do you wish for me to prove it? Take me to the two who were capture, I can show, or would you rather wait until tomorrow?" Madara said, making Julius very tempting.

"Who is this brat?" An old witch said looking at Madara.

"I don't know, but something feels off." A man with a large scar on his face said.

"Wasn't she younger during the attack? She's just an old ugly hag." Madara said, with disgust in his eyes.

"You brat! I will ki-" The old lady said, before being caught in a genjutsu. Whoever placed the barrier on their minds was skilled, but it wasn't anything Madara could break.

A black smoke then came from the hags' head. Madara then moved to scarface. Instantly, he was able to break the barrier in his mind.

"Quickly, do it now, Marx," Julius said, the blue-haired man with a bowl cut. Marx nodded his head and said,

"Memory Exchange Magic: Memoir Absolu!" Marx said.

A spiked shaped dome appeared above both of their heads. The dome was connected to a sphere further above them, connecting to a column with five horizontal planes.

Marx then asked them several questions. When Marx got the "Who was the traitor among us" they both said in unison "The Captain of the Purple Orcas', Gueldre Poizot."

This confirmed what Madara said was true. Julius and Marx thanked Madara.

"Since you have done this, you and your squad will be receiving stars. Is there anything personal that you might want?" Julius asked, making Madara think.

"Yeah, I need Yul. Back when you were that grandma, I gave you my month's pay. So, if you could help me out that would be great." Madara said, with a light smile.

'I wasn't expecting this...' Madara thought after receiving the large pouch of Yul. He said his goodbyes to Julius and Marx and headed back to the hideout.

He just had one more thing to do, Vanessa. A while ago, he asked her to go drinking. Now, that he had the time, he could set the stone into place. He had the perfect plan.

Madara stopped at the store and brought several bottles. The store clerk looked at him like he was crazy. Considering how young he was, was he supposed to be drinking?

When Madara arrived at the hideout, it wasn't hard to find Vanessa. He then approached her.

"Vanessa, you down for a drink?" Madara said, holding up two wine bottles.

"You bet," Vanessa said, making her way to the living her to see more bottles.

"Now, how about we play a game?" Madara said, gaining Vanessa's interest.

"What's your game?" Vanessa said, ready to start drinking.

"The first one to pass out loses and the loser has to do one favor of the victor. Deal?" Madara said, looking at Vanessa.

"Hahaha! You're on kid." Vanessa said, making Madara smirk.
