Chapter 6 First Build

"Mom, why this earlyyy…?" Rex asked rubbing his eyes.

It was 5 am when Bisha woke Rex up and took him to the training ground.

"Listen Rex, from here on I am going to train you to become strong so that you can defend yourself."

"But I haven't decided if I want to become a hero."

"Doesn't matter. Whether you want to become a hero or not, strength is necessary for anyone in this world to survive. Depending on heroes to save your sorry ass? I can't allow that. There is no one better than yourself protecting you." Bisha said then she formed a whip and swung it in lighting speed on the boulder cutting it half. "Now, if you don't want your ass like that boulder, start doing pushups!"

"Hai!" Rex didn't dare to argue anymore and start doing pushups. Though any ordinary kid wouldn't able to do a single pushup, Rex was an EVO whose physique surpassed many times that of an ordinary human. Even a normal human with a good physique doesn't stand a chance against an EVO with intelligence.

Rex easily completed the 10 sets of pushups. Rex was surprised by his physique since he was comparing himself with a normal human. However, the information he gained from books, it was normal for humans who possess strength-type quirks to have this kind of strength in the early stages.

"Good. Now 10 pull-ups, 10 sit-ups, 10 squat and run 1 km."

"Oi woman, are you crazy *whip* AAAH!!" Rex wanted to retort but Bisha whipped his ass.

"Seems like you inherited your foul mouth from your father. Do it in front of me and I will slice your ass just like that boulder." Bisha said.

"B-but it's already split into two…" Rex said showing his hips.

"Pf ahem! Now less whining and more training." Bisha said.

He nodded then started doing pull-ups then followed the rest of the regime. He didn't go outside for running but followed Bisha on a treadmill since media was still active at that time and Bisha can't let him run outside.

After he completed every set, Rex was on the ground lying with heavy breathing.

"Rest for five minutes then we will follow on combat," Bisha said as she sat near him.

"Huff* At least give me half an hour huff*," Rex said.

"If you don't stop acting, I will cut the remaining time. I know you inherited my resistance and stamina. I still go easy on you considering it is the first day of your training." Bisha said.

Rex sighed and sat on the ground. He cursed his healing factor of nanites. EVO hardly needs to eat to survive. They cannot fell ill however he didn't know if that was the same with him.

'Come to think of it, nanites were incomplete when the blast happened and nanites flew across the planet.' He thought then mentally click on the definition of the nanites.

[Nanites:

Nanites are microscopic machines made specifically to manipulate for Rex Kinzoku. These are the complete version of nanites unlike one Rex Salazar possess. It gives the host the basic functions and one special ability. Basic functions include:

Resistance against pain

Nullifying virus and microorganism harming the host.

Enhanced strength

Enhanced durability

Hunger resistance

Advanced healing

Advanced stamina

Sleep resistance

Any resistance that harms user's internally

Rex Kinzoku special ability: Machine building]

'Holly molly! This is indeed a cheat. I still don't know how to build machines or even if I got an Omega-1 Nanite to create unlimited nanites. If so then I will become a complete cheat who doesn't need to rely on food if my intuition is correct. Hunger resistance was just the consumption of nanites instead of normal food for nourishment. I also got sleep resistance considering I only slept for 2 hours and I am still fresh. Uhg but to enhance these powers I have to work hard which I hate.'

In his previous life, he always relied on his brain rather than muscles. Even in the worst-case scenario, he relied on microscopic machines that heal him when he got any injury. They were similar to nanites he possessed but less effective.

"Times up brat. Stand up it's time for combat training." Bisha said standing up.

Rex nodded and stood in front of her.

"Now hit me as hard as you can."

"But-"

"I SAID hit me as HARD as you can. Put all your power in your punches." Bisha said crossing her arms. Her eyes were like a beast. It was actually the sign that she was in battle more or rather aggressive mode.

Rex nodded and gripped his fist.

'Here I come!'

Putting his might in a single punch, he leaped forward and punched Bisha's belly. His fist landed right on the upper part of her navel and created an air vacuum due to Rex's full strength.

"ArrrG What the!" Rex moaned in pain as his knuckle nerves started to bleed. On the other hand, Bisha was fine without any scratch. Rex widened his eyes asking whether the person standing in front of him was even a human.

"This is the strength of the pro hero. I can further strengthen myself further by tightening my muscles but I didn't do anything. Now hurry up and start punching me. Use punch or kicks, all you have to do is to let me block your attacks." Bisha said.

Rex again frowned since his fist was already healed and was ready to get beaten again.

'I think I am not doing it right….'

Thinking that he punched again but he didn't stop when his veins burst open and started to bleed. He put some kicks to but it only made his legs swore.

Bisha smirked and punched Rex sending him flying.

"Guahh arg!!" Rex moaned in pain holding his stomach.

"I said punch not flap like an idiot. Now stand up and fight!" Bisha said again with crossed arms.

'What the hell is she!? I have to think about it…' Rex thought as he stood up and clanged his fist but then an idea came to his mind. 'That's right. If I remember correctly, I can manipulate nanites. What if…'

He again leaped forward but this time he didn't punch Bisha placed his hand on her stomach and activate his nanites on her. Many circuit lines formed on her belly.

Bisha widened her eyes but only smiled.

When Rex did this, several notifications popped up in front of him.

[New active ability acquired]

[Quirk observation: Host can now observe quirks of others through his nanites manipulation.]

[Builds section unlocked.]

[Primary builds

Smack hands E: Smack hands are large gauntlets that can use to attack and defend. It can also absorb shock to some extent.]

Rex smirked making some distance from Bisha.

"Let's see if you can withstand this!" Rex said blue circuits formed on his hand which slowly started to increase its size till it reached the height of half a meter. What came in front of both of them was a big steel hand with two fingers and a thumb however it was round around the edges unlike that of the original Rex.

"Itto it is heavy but I can do this! Here I come!"

Again he leaped forward and punched Bisha putting all his force from his body to his punch. At the last minute, Bisha widened her eyes as she strengthened her abdominal muscles and blocked Rex's punch.

Rex smirked as he disassembled Smack Hand and fell on his knees. Bisha smirked and raised her hand to punch Rex again who closed his eyes as his body left all strength but the punch didn't come. Instead, he felt a soft hand patting his head. He opened his eyes and saw Bisha smiling like a loving mother.

"You did great my son. I am proud of you." Bisha said with a smile. Rex also smiled a little seeing his mother smiling.

"Oi breakfast is ready!" Yato called them with his apron on.

Bisha smiled and took Rex in her embrace and kissed his cheek.

"Rest a little, my little hero~," Bisha said and Rex closed his eyes

"Aww, my precious family~," Yato said hugging Bisha and Rex however his intention was elsewhere as his hand slipped grabbing her ass.

Bisha blushed but narrowed her eyes and punched Yato sending him away. "Not here!"

"Guuh it… is… worth it… bleh," Yato said then fainted.

And so this is how Rex first gained his first build.
