Chapter 39: Fight at the Cliff

Although guttural, the voice of the presence resembling a lizard man came out more high pitched than one would expect. It had a strong accent, but it seemed to understand the language phonetics pretty well.

“Why the long face?” The long-faced creature asked “Never saw one of us talk? Weren’t you the stupid teen who lost the parents to a mere Dampir?”

“You… what do you know about that?” Kai’s eyes burned in flames with the mention of the event on that day. He switched from a concentrated expression to an enraged one.

“Oooh? Sounds like I hit a spot there.”

“Tell me! What do you know?”

“If you want to know you’re going to have to make ma talk, stupid teener.”

The lizard man charged in at full speed to where Kai was, clearly aiding with orgaion to make itself hover faster.
