Deadly Battle

"NO!" Ella screamed, rushing towards Auralia while Zireael covered her return. FLashing his blade, the spider blocked his sword with two of its pedipalps on its mouth.

Narrowing its eyes, Duke Blackwater did a flip in the air the moment a beam of venom tunneled its way through the solid walls. Melting anything it touched, he stepped on-air, shifting direction towards the abdomen.

Moving at inhuman speeds, the silver acana began to grow even deep as his blade curled like a snake. Instead of hitting the abdomen, Zireael's sword severed the foreleg of the beast.

"SHEEEEEE!!!!"

Howling, a powerful sigil appeared above its casting a dark shadow over Zireael as he tossed his sword west of his position into a wall. When all of a sudden, a single ring spiraled down from the giant spider turning all that stood a meter within its presence to dust, be it its webs, venom, or debris from their intense battle, Everything was wiped out of existence.

"Holy Shit! What kind of Spell is that!" Zireael screamed, watching another ring decent once more. This time reaching two meters followed by a third, fourth, fifth and finally sixth. Doubling in diameter with each ring, Zireael swore, knowing it would not get Aurelia unless there were the seventh ring.

Digging his sword from out of the wall, he landed onto the ground, eyeing the beast bleeding heavily. It was desperate and growing weaker by the second with the loss of blood. However, with each liter of blood that dropped. The more a powerful miasma began to appear, numbing those within close proximity.

"How is she?" Zireael shouted, already knowing her state.

Covered in an emerald hue, Ella's eyes began to wane as sweat trickled from her brow and onto Aurelia, who now laid in a crimson puddle of her own making. Growin in size, with each passing second, tears began to fall as Ella faintly whimpered.

"It's not working... Zireael, please help her." She begged. It was all she could do, knowing all she was doing was slowing the inevitable.

"Stop... Ella." Aurelia faintly muttered, opening her dazed eyes. Resting against the wall, surrounded by blood, she shook her head, "It... It's enough," She said, staggering to rise.

Rushing towards the battle, Zireael did not comment on Aurela's state but rather on the struggle ahead, "Aurelia, your up! Sionn protect her, and Ella recover. You did well waking her!"

"But she is—"

Pushing her away, Ella faintly fell, looking up at the dark gold aura swelling from Aurelia's body. Rising like a wildfire, the air around her chilled, leaving a nightmarish intent.

"Aurelia will live!' She muttered, having eyes for only the monstrosity that laid ahead. Taking a deep breath of the foul miasma, the crippling anguish gnawing like fiends at her shattered bones began to numb. Casting featherfoot on herself and Sionn, her dazy eye fell into focus. Pressing off the floor in a golden flash, Aurelia rushed towards the Valmitotarmis Spider.

Arching his lips behind the shadows of the beast, Zireael stared chilled, and his blade shot out, carrying with it enough power to sever the beast in half. His body suddenly began to blink around the battle feel, sending various sword lights out.

Cutting deep with each stroke, blood began to flash when all of a sudden, Aurelia appeared. Right at the mouth of the beast.

Recalling that miasma could explode, two different sigils appeared. One that represented force blast and firebolt.

"DIE!" she shouted when all of a sudden a Zireael appeared by her side. The moment the firebolt shot out.

BOOM!

Holding her to his side, he teleported the both of them to his sword a few meters away. Feeling the massive shock wave reach their bodies, the young Lord sent Sionn a heavy glance. Nodding in understanding, he bitt his lips, carrying a heavy heart.

"Can you still continue?" Zireael whispered softly for Aurelia.

"Hmm," She nodded, watching the beast bellow as a large about of blood and ash began to trickle down from what was left of its face. Out of the thirteen eyes, only five had remained, while the others were seared beyond recognition.

Summoning that strange sigil once more, Zireael roared, "Run!" rushing with aurelia in his arm.

Sionn, however, remained carrying with him a heavy expression. Noticing this, Zireael hands twisted as he drew a rune with one swift movement. Before tossing his sword towards Sionn, who dropped his blade and took duke blackwater's blade.

"Aurelia Cast Demonic Lance at Sionn!" The young Lord rushed to say, tossing a small black vial onto the head of the Eldritch staff. Humming to life, Aurelia's entire body suddenly felt rejuvenated.

Feeling the horrifying rings press towards Sionn, Aurelia's eyes widen when all of a sudden, a magical barrier appeared around him, shielding him from an untimely death.

Following his order, the six rings of death fell when all of a sudden, a demonic pressure mysteriously began to rise around Aurelia. Turning paler than a ghost, a dark evil aura tugged at the air.

Sensing the devil grip like that of a riper around its neck, the spider turned to Aurelia, releasing a maddening roar. Its legs bend as if to charge when Sionn leaped right before his eyes—gripping the Sword of Zireael, his arm slash. However, the Valmitotarmis Spider covering in a dense Arcana was far quicker.

Lifting his shield, Sionn saw to drop Zireaels sword, as the leg of the Valmitotarmis Spider tore through Sionns shield without any effort. Piercing through his chest with ease Sionn, mouth opened wide as blood groped.

"DEMONIC LANCE!" Aurelia screamed, falling faint with the memory of Sionn hoving off the ground totally impaled.

Following the will of its master, a demonic Lance flashed at speeds only short of Zireael, who severed the pedipalps impaling Sionn. Taking his body, the young Lord twisted his body, dodging as a spear of darkness ran from the head of the beast, out its end continuing on through the walls without end.

Tossing a vial of ether water over the faint Sionn bleeding out, a hopeful warmth entered his cheeks. "I did not think you would be so brave. Is it naivety, or do you crave power so much? I truly look forward to training you." He said with deep dark eyes that seemed to hold all of creation within.
