Full Power!

Jirachi appeared in the center of the battlefield attracting everyone's attention.

"To think that Jirachi was with you all the time, now I know why you are so adamant on thinking that you can win this tournament," Ash said while looking at the familiar Jirachi.

Jirachi pouted hearing Ash talking bad about Max again and said, "Why are you such a bully Ash, I thought we were friends but now I decided to unfriend you." sticking her tongue out.

Ash chuckled seeing this and replied, "Nice to see you too, Jirachi. but if you think that you can win just because you appeared then you're really overestimating your ability."

"Alakazam, show our little friend here that being a mythical pokemon isn't all that great."

Alakazam grinned and teleported in front of Jirachi, he then covered both of his hands with fire and let out a barrage of punches towards Jirachi.

Seeing Alakazam using Fire Punch which Jirachi's weakness because she was a steel/psychic type, Max commanded, "Jirachi, slow his movement using Gravity!"

Jirachi's eyes shone and a huge pressure landed on Alakazam's body making his movement slower.

"What a futile move, Alakazam, use full power," Ash said casually.

Alakazam who's movement was affected suddenly released a terrifying purple aura breaking the Gravity around him.

"What?!" Max exclaimed seeing Alakazam destroying Jirachi's skill.

Alakazam didn't show any mercy and assaulted Jirachi with Fire Punch after Fire Punch.

Jirachi who was taken aback by Alakazam's increase of strength tried her best to block Alakazam's assault, she then used Cosmic Power making her eyes brighten, and light particles showered down upon her raising her defense.

"Max, why aren't you helping her? I thought that you wanted to win," Ash said with a frown on his face clearly dissatisfied at Max's performance.

Max was instantly pressured, he didn't expect Jirachi to be overpowered and thought that bringing Jirachi will make him win a match very easily.

He looked at Jirachi who was doing her very best at defending, he gritted his teeth and blamed himself for being useless letting his pokemon fight on her due to his incompetence.

'No! I shouldn't let this type of pressure affect me, we also trained hard this past few years! we also did our very best!' Max thought, he then raised his head and stared at Ash with confidence returning in his eyes.

Seeing that glint of confidence in Max's eyes Ash smiled and commanded, "Get back, Alakazam."

Alakazam stopped attacking and teleported in front of Ash.

Jirachi who was left in the battle was currently battered and bruised she clearly took heavy damage from Alakazam's assault earlier.

Max looked at Jirachi and said, "Jirachi, I'm sorry for being useless earlier. but let us fight to the end! use protect to surround yourself and follow it up with rest."

Jirachi smiled and nodded, a 4 sided barrier surrounded Jirachi and she then closed her eyes and started healing.

Alakazam stared back at Ash waiting for his command but his Master didn't say anything so Alakazam could only stand-by and stare at Jirachi who was currently healing.

A few moments later Jirachi opened her eyes and the 4 sided barrier disappeared.

"Are ready for round 2?" Ash asked with a smile on his face.

Max smiled back and replied, "We are ready! so prepare to lose, Ash!"

Ash laughed and commanded, "Alakazam, destroy their confidence with a full power Hyper Beam."

Alakazam floated in the air, he made his spoons form an X mark in front of him and light particles started converting in the middle of the spoons.

Seeing Alakazam planning on ending it with one move Max and Jirachi's fighting spirit raised and they didn't back down.

"Jirachi, counter it with a full power Hyper Beam!"

Jirachi also floated in the air while her three blue talismans brightened and started converging light particles in front of her body.

"What is going on?!" The host shouted as he felt the stadium trembling and the battlefield started to break apart.

Zygarde who was on Bonnie's lap jumped off and suddenly transformed into his full form shocking the people around them, "Bonnie, I am gonna erect a huge shield to protect you guys from the blast."

A similar situation was happening on each corner of the stadium with strong pokemon erecting a shield to protect the audience.

Seeing Alakazam ready to attack, Ash looked at Jirachi who was trying her hardest to make a more powerful hyper beam.

Max already had a worried look on his face when he saw Jirachi having a hard time competing with Alakazam, he knew that Jirachi wanted to form a much more powerful hyper beam.

"Max, I am ready!" Jirachi said as she glanced at Max with a smile on her face.

Max smiled warmly and commanded, "Let's do this, Jirachi! Hyper Beam!"

The huge hyper beam that Jirachi made shot out towards Alakazam.

Seeing the incoming hyper beam, Ash grinned and commanded calmly, "Destroy it."

Alakazam roared and his already ginormous hyper beam suddenly doubled its size, he then stepped back and shot the hyper beam towards Jirachi's hyper beam.

As the two hyper beams were about to collide and everyone was expecting a huge explosion, Jirachi's hyper beam which she was proud of was suddenly engulfed by Alakazam's hyper beam.

Jirachi upon seeing her hyper beam being swallowed lost all her strength as she fell, Max immediately rushed forward and caught Jirachi while the huge hyper beam was fast approaching.

"Max, get out!" May stood up and shouted, worried that her little brother will get injured.

Max stared at the incoming hyper beam and shielded Jirachi as he closes his eyes waiting for the attack to hit.

As the hyper beam was nearing them it suddenly changed direction and move upwards exploding in the air showing a spectacular sight that awed the audience as light shards were falling down like snowflakes.

The referee who was nervous the whole time sighed in relief seeing the hyper beam didn't hit Jirachi, he then raised his hand and announced, "Jirachi is unable to battle the winner is Alakazam!"
