Too Old

"You know this devil doesn't like to repeat herself, right?" asked Raelle. "But considering you're my best friend, I'll repeat myself. There are no ghosts."

Hyson pouted at her, "You just don't believe me."

"I want to laugh," said Raelle out of nowhere.

Hyson stared at her face and said, "I don't believe you."

"See?" replied Raelle. "There are things we both say that is hard to believe."

Hyson made a face at her and rolled his eyes, "You'll just say anything to make a point. Whatever! As long as I believe that I saw a ghost, I don't care about your opinion."

"As you should," she said. "In your life, only your opinion should matter. Even if I'm your best friend, you don't have to go along with me. That won't be fair to you." She took a pause to add, "Yes, you can take my opinion into consideration but at the end of the day, your own thoughts shouldn't be ignored."
