"Wait… something's wrong…. Shouldn't you be somewhere now?" I asked

[Pftt…. Of course not] Paris replied in a weird tone

"You're definitely lying, now get going" I said then created a portal and sent her through it

"I'm going home!!" I shouted and stood up from my desk and left the office too.

As i sat in the car looking through the windows as I watched several hundreds of people walking around and going about their business, I couldn't help but feel proud. Elysium had come so far from what it used to be, in it's earlier years, driving around Elysium would give you this empty feeling since there weren't many people on the island but now we actually had traffic, millions of apartments inhabited and more. Truthfully Elysium was still no where near full but I was happy with what we have now.

Of course, most of Elysium's population now is from immigrants who saw greener pastures here and most of them would become true citizens next year since to become a true citizen of Elysium, you had to have lived here for five(5) years… well at least that's how it is for now. In these five years, Elysium has advanced way more than expected looking around, you could easily spot people who were working around while on their phones. Their phones however created holographic versions of whatever they wanted or the ons that simply had a holographic screen floating in front of them despite having no real device in sight thus making it easy for them to both pay attention to the road in front of them whilst doing whatever it was on their screens.

Yes, you have guessed it, these were the MTDs that the A.I.M scientists had worked on…. Well it was the normal one that was being sold out to people and by that I mean the implant version that is being sold out to the public. As for the Techno-organic version, it is in use by Elysium's Military due to some of the other uses that I didn't really think of when I was thinking about it before. It allowed the user to have complete control over their body due to the fact that the Techno-organic version of the MTDs gives the user absolute control over the newly converted neurons.

Now with these new neurons flowing throughout the host's body, they have control over their main nervous system and from there, their entire body. Meaning that not only would they be able to learn basically any martial arts or skill on a moment's notice and instantly become able to use those skills to perfection. They become able to endure more pain because well…. They can turn off their pain receptors with ease thus continue working at full power even when injured, they will also possess enhanced strength, speed and all that though just a few inches below a real super soldier.

Above all was also the fact that the MTD basically turned the host's mind into a computer thus allowing them to process information way quicker than normal meaning quicker decision making and maybe most importantly, there will be constant communication between squad members and the same with base. We would be able to track them easily for any form of extraction and also we would be able to deactivate a soldier if he/she starts going rogue or doing the wrong things.

As for the regular normal MTD which was to be placed at the back of the ear. It didn't have those abilities, instead just functioned as a glorified VR headset that allowed a few side benefits like giving a free health check up every 24 hours. These version was released along with our Virtual space, "The World", a virtual verse created to basically announce Elysium's real entry into the gaming industry and now the World has more than 15 million people in it at all times either fully in it as they go about their business up there or partially in it where they use it for other purposes.

[Sir we have arrived at your designation] the car's A.I said as the car pulled over in front of a beautiful black gate and behind it was a beautiful and extremely large manor.

After seconds of waiting, the gates opened and the car drove into the manor. The manor was incredibly large and filled with various types of ornamental plants, the environment simply gave a simple comforting feeling to it that instantly made me relax. As the car moved on, I started to make out the figures of people…. Children of all ages playing or simply sitting and discussing all across the massive garden.

Despite that, I ignored them and watched as the car drove into my usual parking spot. When the car parked, I came out of it and entered the massive building in the middle of this entire thing. This 'manor' or whatever you want to call it, was designed in a way that reminded me of a University Campus. This was where I slept and stayed nowadays since the apartment is basically empty and staying alone with your thoughts isn't exactly advised especially when they can become reality.

Welcome to Elysium's School for the gifted and yes, I know the name is overused but I can't lie, the name is catchy. Anyway the school was established to help the young inhumans/mutants/mutates on Elysium to control their powers, should they choose to keep it. Of course, while on the island, their powers don't do shit but what about when they leave the island.

Elysium needs to maintain a good name so the school was established with the help of the Inhumans. King Boltagon sent his sister in-law/Cousin to oversee the inhumans at the school and as for the mutants, I got them the perfect teacher.

Author's Note: I am sorry I have been unable to update this book, it's because I can't make up my mind at all on which marvel arc to follow so please comment any arc, be it mutant related or Avengers related or even any random one. I will make it work
