Chapter: Set Up For The Finale!

Kronos was now dead— half his body melted never to regenerate again. After Zane had allowed his acid to melt through Kronos's flesh, he waited for the core to be revealed. Once this was done, Zane had removed Kronos' core, claiming it for himself.

By this time, Anastasia had freed everyone from Kronos's ability. Their perception had returned to normal and they could now see the lifeless body of Kronos beneath them.

"Finally..." Cried Anastasia as she fell to her knees, "It's all over now... The royals, the war, the endless bloodshed... It's all over now!"

"But at what cost..? So many died to get us to where we are now... More than half of the Apocrypha's army has been lost. On top of that, the entire Anunnaki army has been wiped out too... Not to mention that out of our main group, only nine of us remain..!" Complained Layla.
