Apology

Adam wasn't the kind to burst out often. In fact, he never acts out even in the most annoying situations. He mostly lightens the mood with jokes. But this time he couldn't do that. When that brat started saying whatever he wanted to Sarah, Adam saw red.

Sarah is the closest he has to a sister. and more importantly, she's the friend who stood with him in his darkest times when his girlfriend broke up with him and everyone seemed to have something else to do now that Adam wasn't the prodigy with the bright future.

Back then, Sarah had stood by his side without expecting anything, she just stood there when he needed it, listened when he wanted to talk, and helped him move on when he was ready. He will be forever grateful to her for her friendship, but that's not the only reason why he stood up to Cade for her.
