Chapter 22

"NO!" Harry yelled. He ran forward, placing himself in front Pettigrew, facing the wands. "You can't kill him," he said breathlessly. "You can't."

Black and Lupin both looked staggered.

"Harry, this piece of vermin is the reason you have no parents," Black snarled. "This cringing bit of filth would have seen you die too, without turning a hair. You heard him. His own stinking skin meant more to him than your whole family."

"I know," Harry panted. "We'll take him up to the castle. We'll hand him over to the Dementors...He can go to Azkaban...but don't kill him."

"Harry!" gasped Pettigrew, and he flung his arms around Harry's knees. "You -- thank you -- it's more than I deserve -- thank you --"

"Get off me," Harry spat, throwing Pettigrew's hands off him in disgust. "I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing it because -- I don't reckon my dad would've wanted them to become killers -- just for you."

No one moved or made a sound except Pettigrew, whose breath was coming in wheezes as he clutched his chest. Black and Lupin were looking at each other. Then, with one movement, they lowered their wands.

"You're the only person who has the right to decide, Harry," said Black. "But think... think what he did...."

"He can go to Azkaban," Harry repeated. "If anyone deserves that place, he does...."

Pettigrew was still wheezing behind him.

"Very well," said Lupin. "Stand aside, Harry."

Harry hesitated.

"I'm going to tie him up," said Lupin. "That's all, I swear."

They tied peter up and was about to left the room.

"We're gonna get expelled once professor snape woke up" i told them. Harry looked at me and gulped. "You guys go I'll wait for professor snape good luck" i told them Hermonie, ron and harry nodded. After like 10 minutes professor snape wakes up.

"Your grandma will hear about this Kaitlyn" says professor snape, I gulped. "Where are they?!" He continued.

"O-out side" i said he immediately went down and i followed him.

"There you are potter" i saw professor snape holding harrys clothes. I saw professor lupin transformed into a werewolf I patted professor snaped back he looked at professor lupin and protects up. Professor lupin as a werewolf knocked professor snape down. But then sirius back as the grim attacked professor lupin and they fight and chased each other.

"Sirius" harry said and run up to them.

"Come back here potter" says professor snape. But he didn't listen.

"We should bring ron to the hospital wing" i told them. They nodded once we got to the hospital wing we are welcomed by madam pomfrey.

"What in the merlins beard happen?" Said madam pomfrey.

"The grim" i said.

"I better talk to Dumbledore" says professor snape.

We nodded.

Madam pomfrey fixed rons legs, while Hermonie sat beside ron. Madam pomfrey looked at me i smiled.

"You and malfoy right" she said, i nodded. Hermonie and ron looked at me in shocked.

"Since when?" Hermonie asked.

"Summer" i said.

"You probably have your own reasons, but i hope you're happy" Hermonie said.

"Yea-" i looked at my watch again. "Oh no harry and sirius"

"What about them" ron asked.

"They're both passed out by now at the side of the lake" i told them. Madam pomfrey called the other assistant to get them.

"I gotta go" i told them and runs away.

I made my way to Dumbledore's office and knocked. I heard him said come in.

"They got the wrong man sirius is innocent" i told Dumbledore. But he doesn't look shock.

"I know Miss Simmons" he told me.

"We just need a little adjustments on time" he said and winks at me. Ohh. Got it"hospital wing shall we?" He said and i nodded we walk back we saw harry is already there Hermonie walks up to us. "Play your part" he whispered at me. I nodded.

"Headmaster you've got to stop them they got the wrong man" says Hermonie.

"Its true sir, sirius is innocent" says harry.

"It's Scabbers who did it"says ron. We looked at him.

"Scabbers?" Dumbledore asked.

"He was my rat sir, he's not really a rat, well he was a rat, he was my brothers percy's rat, but then they gave it to me now" says ron.

"We know the truth." Says Hermonie. "Please believe us tell him Kaitlyn"

"I do miss granger but im sorry to say that they will not believe the 13 years old wizards" says professor Dumbledore walking to rons side."a childs voice whoever honest and truth is meaningless" says Dumbledore while patting rons legs he continue saying something but i looked at the time.

"Now, pay attention," said Dumbledore, speaking very low, and very clearly. "Sirius is locked in Professor Flitwick's office on the seventh floor. Thirteenth window from the right of the West Tower. If all goes well, you will be able to save more than one innocent life tonight. But remember this, both of you: you must not be seen. Miss Granger, you know the law -- you know what is at stake...You -- must -- not -- be --seen."

Harry didn't have a clue what was going on. Dumbledore had turned on his heel, i looked back as we reached the door.

"I am going to lock you in. It is --" i looked at my watch, "five minutes to midnight. Hermonie three turns should do it. Good luck. I said pointing at Hermonie time turner, i walk out of the hospital wing and looked at the other harry and Hermonie.

"Well" Dumbledore asked.

"He's free,we did it" harry says.

"Good one" says Dumbledore. 

I smiled at them, "good night" Dumbledore and i said the same time and Dumbledore waved at them.

Dumbledore and i walk downstairs. "Thank you Miss Simmons" says Dumbledore.

"No problem professor have a goodnight" i said and walks away, i reached the common room i saw draco waiting at the living room as soon as he saw me he went up to me.

"Where did you go?" He asked. "Im so worried about you, you didn't even attend dinner at the hall" he said.

"Im sorry i just did some talks with professor snape" i said and hugged him.

He hugs me back"go get some rest" he said letting me go.

I nodded and he kissed my forehead. "Good night" he said.

"Goodnight" i smiled and went to my bedroom. I changed my clothes and brushed my teeth as soon as my body felt the bed i fall asleep. The next day i woke up i change into my uniform i saw draco waiting for me.

"Where are the others?" I asked.

"Already at the greathall" he said and holds my hand. We walk out of the common room and went to the great hall after eating breakfast draco and i both walk around the castle, draco and i saw professor lupin walks out of the DADA classroom followed by harry.

"Oh look its potter" says draco loud enough to make harry looked back.

"Draco stop" i told him. "Where is professor lupin going?" I asked harry.

"He resigned" says harry. "I gotta go" he said and walks away.

I heard draco chuckled. "Lets go back to the greathall and meet the others" i told him and he nodded.

"Last one is the rotten egg" says draco and run.

"Unfair i don't wanna get expelled so im not running" i said walking.

"You're so boring " says draco.

"Excuse me?" I looked at him.

"Im just kidding baby" he walks up to me and hugged me.

"I hate you" i said walking to the great hall and sits at my usual sit.

"Aww i love you too" he said kissing my cheeks and sits beside me.

"Oh please not you two being sweet again" says pansy while reading a book.

"Dont act like you and blaise aren't sweet" i told her.

"Oh please im the third wheel here" says chloe and we all laughed.

The next day we went back to the platform, draco told me he's gonna be sending me letters i saw my grandma.

"Look at you taller than me now, and we need to talk once we got home" she said and we both walk to the car, we got to the house after an hour.

"Go unpack your things go to the dining once your done so we can eat dinner." She said.

I nodded and went to my room after unpacking i went to the dining i saw my grandma already eating. I sit at the chair and started slicing my steak.

"Severus sent me a letter" she started.

I gulped. "I swear i hit his wand, harry hit his body" i told her.

She laughed. "Severus said its fine and he's proud at you that you hit his wand and you didn't left him alone there and im proud of your kindness lyn" she said. I smiled and felt relieved.

After eating dinner i went to my room i saw dracos owl with the letter and chocolate. I got the letter and chocolate and the owl flew away.

Dear lia, 

I miss you already, your smell, your hand on my hands, your hands on my hair, did you got home already? Are you safe? I was wondering if you wanted to go with me and my father on quidditch world cup before our fourth year starts? Send a letter if you will, hope you love the chocolate, see you soon love you have a good night.

Thats sweet. I went out of the room and went to my grandmas room.

"Grandma is it okay if i can go with draco and Lucius before fourth yearon quidditch world cup?" I asked her.

"Think whats the next book can you handle it?" She asked.

Then it hits, death eaters, fire all over the ground, dark mark.

"Oh-" i said.

"But im pretty sure Lucius will take care of you and draco so its fine for me, but its your choice can you handle it?" She asked.

"I guess so" i said.

"Then go for it" she smiled.

"Alright thank you grandma" i said and went out of her room and back to mines i wrote a letter to draco.

Dear draco,

I missed you too, and yes I'd love to go with you and your father, can't wait to see you and yes i am safe thank you for the chocolate, i love you, good night.

I put it in the envelope and put it on my owls beak and lets her go, after 10-20 minutes I finally fall asleep. After one week my grandma and i traveled to paris we went to go shopping stayed at our house there we are now eating at a restaurant and we saw amanda and chloe.

"Amora!" Says amanda.

"Amanda" my grandma says smiling.

"You two are here, vacation?" Says amanda.

"Yes" i smiled.

"Thats fun!" Says amanda.

"When are you going back to London?" Chloe asked.

"Tomorrow i guess, visit me at the manor please im getting home sick there" i whispered to chloe.

She laughed. "I'll try" she said.

"You better" i said and laughed.

"Well chloe and i should be going now" says amanda.

I waved good bye at them.
