Chapter 17

We went to the common room draco went to his room, i followed him.

"You should take a rest" i told him.

He just nodded.

"I'll go now" i said.

"Where to your mudblood friends?" He asked.

"I don't know what your talking about" i said nervously.

"Your getting suspicious lately" he said seriously.

I gulped. "What do you mean? I swear Hermonie and I doesn't even talk anymore" i said.

"Alright whatever" he said laying down on his bed.

"I'll just talk to professor snape" i walk out of his room.

I hurriedly walk out of the dungeon to find Hermonie, i found her exiting the great hall.

"Hermonie" I shouted.

"Lyn" she said.

"Here's the thing draco is getting suspicious that im talking to you three so make the pollyjuice potion and disguise your selves into slytherin students i know its 1month to make but draco's father is gonna write next month good luck" i said.

"So draco father knows anything about the chamber of secrets?" she asked.

"Yea so is my grandma I don't have much time and expect me to be distant I don't want draco knowing anything about this" i told her.

"It's alright I understand, thank you again" she said.

"No problem" i said and left. I went to the dungeons again and went to professor snapes office.

"Lyn what brings you here?" He asked.

"I wanna ask if i can borrow a potion book for 3rd year?" I said nervously.

He looked at me "and why is that?" 

"Advance reading" i said.

He hand me a book and i got it. "Thank you I'll bring it back later" i told him and he nodded. I went back to the common room draco is out of his room now he's chatting with his friends i went inside my room and read the book. The next time i know i fall asleep. I woke up early and went to the greathall with my friends and ate breakfast.

"This is gonna be a boring day" says pansy while eating muffins.

"Not gonna lie im scared i heard there's a new attack last night" says chloe.

"Students are in great danger the school might close" says blaise.

I just nodded and eats.

"My father takes forever to write back" says draco. Then I remember I haven't opened my grandma's letter, I opened my bag and got her letter and opened it.

Dear Kaitlyn Ellianna,

Draco's father will be writing soon. The other information are written there but the chamber of secrets is just a memory its done you don't have to be worried stay safe.

It doesn't make sense.

"We have a free time wanna walk around?" Pansy asked.

The others nodded.

"I'll be going to the library" i told them."i just need to find somethings about the chamber of secrets since my grandma didn't explain about it" they nodded. And we went separate ways, i went to the out of order girls lavatory i saw the three students i heard eon saying they might get caught.

"No no one ever comes in here" says Hermonie.

"Why?" Ron asked.

"Moaning myrtle" Hermonie said.

"Who?" Ron asked

"Moaning myrtle" i said and they all looked at me.

"Who's moaning myrtle" ron asked again.

Then myrtle shows up.

"Im moaning myrtle" myrtle said. "I wouldn't expect you to moan me. Who would ever talk about ugly, miserable moaning myrtle"

Then she screamed and cried and went to her cubicle.

"She's a little sensitive" Hermonie said. "What are you doing here again lyn?" She asked.

"Im just checking on how the pollyjuice is doing?" I said.

"We're working on it right now" Hermonie said while stirring the juice.

"Won't your friends be suspicious?" Harry asked.

"They're walking around the castle free time ya know" i said. And looked at the time. "Defense against the dark arts will be in 10 minutes we should go" i told them and they nodded. We went in separate ways i saw draco and the others walking i run up to them. "Lets go our next class is DADA" they nodded and we went to the great hall and saw the other students are already there we went to stand with the other slytherin.

Lockhart waved an arm for silence and called "Gather round, gather round! Can everyone see me? Can you all hear me? Excellent!

"Now, Professor Dumbledore has granted me permission to start this little dueling club, to train you all in case you ever need to defend yourselves as I myself have done on countless occasions - for full details, see my published works.

"Let me introduce my assistant, Professor Snape," said Lockhart, flashing a wide smile. "He tells me he knows a tiny little bit about dueling himself and has sportingly agreed to help me with a short demonstration before we begin. Now, I don't want any of you youngsters to worry - you'll still have your Potions master when I'm through with him, never fear!"

Snape's upper lip was curling. I wondered why Lockhart was still smiling; if Snape had been looking at me like that I'd  have been running as fast as i could in the opposite direction.

Lockhart and Snape turned to face each other and bowed; at least, Lockhart did, with much twirling of his hands, whereas Snape jerked his head irritably. Then they raised their wands like swords in front of them.

"As you see, we are holding our wands in the accepted combative position," Lockhart told the silent crowd. "On the count of three, we will cast our first spells. Neither of us will be aiming to kill, of course."

"I wouldn't bet on that," I murmured, watching Snape baring his teeth.

"One - two - three--"

Both of them swung their wands above their heads and pointed them at their opponent; Snape cried: "Expelliarmus!" There was a dazzling flash of scarlet light and Lockhart was blasted off his feet: He flew backward off the stage, smashed into the wall, and slid down it to sprawl on the floor.

Malfoy and i and some of the other Slytherins cheered.

"Well, there you have it!" he said, tottering back onto the platform. "That was a Disarming Charm - as you see, I've lost my wand - ah, thank you, Miss Brown - yes, an excellent idea to show them that, Professor Snape, but if you don't mind my saying so, it was very obvious what you were about to do. If I had wanted to stop you it would have been only too easy - however, I felt it would be instructive to let them see..."

Snape was looking murderous. Possibly Lockhart had noticed, because he said, "Enough demonstrating! I'm going to come amongst you now and put you all into pairs. Professor Snape, if you'd like to help me--"

They moved through the crowd, matching up partners. Lockhart teamed Neville with Justin Finch-Fletchley, but Snape reached Rose Maple the ravenclaw girl.

"Time to split up the dream team, I think," he sneered. "Rose Maple"

Rose immediately got up.

"And someone from my house, Miss Simmons?" He smiled and i got up i saw the smirks on chloe and pansy's face. I take out my wand. Walk in the middle, bow, then walk back.

"At the count of three!" Says professor lockhart. "One, Two,..."

"CRUSIO" rose shouted.

"Protego" i cast chilie. "Ava- Expelliarmus!!" She didn't have enough time to react as she already knocked down. I smiled devilishly i saw lockharts face as if he was like scared, i walk back to where i stand "good job lyn" i heard professor snape and i smiled at him.

"The power of jealousy" i hear pansy. Chloe and i just laughed.

"Nice one lia" says draco. I just smirked.

"Now potter and weasly?" Lockhart says.

"Weaslys wand cause devastation with the simplist spells will be sending poter at the hospital wing in a match box, may I suggest someone in my house again, malfoy perhaps?" Professor snape said as he walk back and tell draco to get there. Draco got up and walks in the middle.

"Wands at the ready" says professor lockhart. "On the count of there cast your charms into this arm only to this arm we dont want any accidents there one, two" 

Before harry can know he already got struck by draco's spell. He got up and pointed the wand to draco. "Rictusempra" the draco knocked back.

Malfoy raised his wand quickly and bellowed, " Serpensortia!"

The end of his wand exploded. Harry watched, aghast, as a long black snake shot out of it, fell heavily onto the floor between them, and raised itself, ready to strike. There were screams as the crowd backed swiftly away, clearing the floor.

"Don't move, Potter," said Snape lazily, clearly enjoying the sight of Harry standing motionless, eye to eye with the angry snake. "I'll get rid of it..."

"Allow me!" shouted Lockhart. He brandished his wand at the snake and there was a loud bang; the snake, instead of vanishing, flew ten feet into the air and fell back to the floor with a loud smack. Enraged, hissing furiously, it slithered straight toward Me and raised itself again, fangs exposed, poised to strike.

Harry began to speak purselmouth.

He looked up at me grinning, expecting to see Me looking relieved, or puzzled, or even grateful - but certainly not im scared draco looked at him angrily and then worried at me.

Snape stepped forward, waved his wand, and the snake vanished in a small puff of black smoke. Snape, too, was looking at Harry in an unexpected way: It was a shrewd and calculating look, and Harry didn't like it. He was also dimly aware of an ominous muttering all around the walls. Then he felt a tugging on the back of his robes.

At dinner i saw harry, ron and Hermonie at the back probably talking about the plan i just hope it works nicely.

"Are you okay? Your still shaking lyn" says chloe and pansy gave me a worried look.

"Yea i guess" i told them and continue eating. Once we're done we agree to go noe to the common room to take some rest

"Its gonna be okay you'll be safe lets go now to the common room my father finally write back" he said and hold my hands. I nodded and we went to the common room without crabbe and goyle. I sits at the sofa.

"Where is crabbe and goyle?" He asked while looking around.

"Probably at the greathall eating foods again" i told him rolling my eyes.

"I'll just be in my room if you needed me" says pansy.

"I'll be asleep" says chloe.

"Same" says blaise.

Draco and i just nodded. "I'll go find crabbe and goyle lia I'll be back" he said and i nodded. After waiting like 8 minutes straight they finally came i sit properly at the sofa crossing my legs draco sat beside me.

"You'd never know the Weasleys were pure-bloods, the way they behave. They are embarrassing to the wizarding world all of them"

Ron's - or rather, Crabbe's - face was contorted with fury.

"What's up with you, Crabbe?" snapped Malfoy.

"Stomachache," Ron grunted.

"You know im surprised that the daily prophet hasn't reported in all this attacks, I suppose Dumbledore tryna hush it all up, father always says that Dumbledore is the worst that ever happen in this place." Says draco. Harry on the other hand looks like he's gonna blow up and he did.

"You're wrong" he shouted.

Draco stands up. "What?!, you think there's someones here that worse than Dumbledore dore" he asked. Ron moved his head no "well, do you?!" Draco asked again.

I cleared my throat. "Harry Potter, malfoy" i told malfoy and rolled my eyes. I looked at ron and harry just nodding.

"Good one lia, Saint Potter and people actually think that he's the heir of slytherin" draco speaks, ron and harry looked at each other. 

Ron's jaw dropped, Harry, thinking fast, said, "You must have some idea who's behind it all..."

"You know I haven't, Goyle, i told you yesterday, how many times do I have to tell you?" snapped Malfoy. "Is this yours?" Draco asked holding a small box of gift, harry nodded his head no"My father say this its been fifty years since the last time the Chamber of Secrets was opened, he wouldn't tell me who opened it only that they were expelled the last time The Chamber of secrets was opened, a Mudblood died. So I bet it's a matter of time before one of them's killed this time... As for me I hope it's Granger," he said with relish.

Ron was clenching Crabbe's gigantic fists. Feeling that it would be a bit of a giveaway if Ron punched Malfoy harry stands to stopped him making me stand to, "whats the matter with you two?! You're acting very odd" says draco.

"Its his stomachache" says harry

Harry and ron run out of the slytherin common room.

"Hey where are you going?!" Draco asked.

"Medicine for my stomach," Ron grunted.

"We better go get some sleep" i told draco.

"Alright" draco says.

We walk to our rooms. "Goodnight lia" he said.

"Night draco" went into my room and closed the door I changed into my pajamas and went to sleep.
