Humiliation

A majestic and deadly Pokemon came out of the ball. The minute it came out, everyone knew that this was not a rare rank Pokemon. It was at least a king rank Pokemon.

ROOOOARRR

It gave a huge roar after coming out. Frankly, it was angry as it was planning to have a good sleep but now it needed to fight these weak Pokemons. Slowemperor was a tier 3 king-rank Pokemon and it was very strong. It still needed some experience as it ranked up too fast but it was not weak against a rare rank Pokemon.

The crowd was silent for a few seconds and then they started to complain.

"What the hell is this? Why did he take out such a strong Pokemon?"

"Yes, this is just cheating."

"Yes, the gym leader also has some powerful Pokemons but he followed the rules while this Kanto trainer is not following the rules."

These were the shouts that were coming out of the crowd. Even Roy was angry when Axel summoned a tier 3 king-rank Pokemon to battle a rare-rank Pokemon.

"What the hell is this? Why are you taking out a tier 3 king-rank Pokemon to fight? This is going against the rules.", said Roy.

"My dear gym leader. We agreed that the rules would be the same and even the referee said the same thing."

"It still doesn't make any sense. You just registered to the Johto region. How could you have a king rank Pokemon?", said Roy.

"Oh, why don't you check my papers? You will find out that Slowemperor is eligible for the gym battles of the Johto region.", said Axel.

Roy personally called the referee to recheck the data and found out that it was true. When the referee said that Axel was not lying, the crowd got silent again.

Even an idiot knew that it was going to be a massacre.

"What Meowth got your tongue? You first told me that you could beat me if you were serious at first. Then you say that my Slowemperor could not even fight in this battle when you previously agreed to agree on the same rules. You are a gym leader. Have some shame.

Now you might say that you don't want my Pokemon but myself to fight in this battle. If you are thinking of saying that then I can agree to it too. I came here thinking that I would have an adventure in the Johto region but it looks like even the gym leaders don't want that."

Axel didn't hold anything back when he started to talk. The crowd got silent again and so did Roy. Roy now had no way to come out at the top. He was going to lose this battle and the billion Poke dollars but most importantly, he was going to lose his fame and reputation.

"Do you want to start the battle?", asked the referee.

"I am ready.", said Axel.

Roy also nodded his head.

"Let the battle begin!!"

It was what everyone thought it would be. It was a massacre. Due to 'Monarch' of Slowemperor, the Pokemons were already scared and their moment was not normal. Some of them were also looking at Slowemperor with respect when Slowemperor used a single move to finish all of them.

Roy used Gyarados and another Pidgeot after Dragonite but none of them had the balls to even scratch Slowemperor. The crowd was so shocked about the turn of events that they didn't even notice that Slowemperor was a completely new Pokemon that they had never seen. Even Roy didn't notice it.

Axel had a smile on his face. Red had told him to crush the gym leaders of the Johto region and he thought that he had done a pretty good job.

Axel didn't want to humiliate Roy but Roy's behavior had ticked off Axel in a bad way. Roy wanted fame and reputation and he was also very greedy. He was also arrogant and thought that others were below him.

Axel gave him a card with his bank details and said, "Do transfer me the amount in this bank number. I will be waiting. Now, I see that you are not seeing me out. Yet another example of a good gym leader. So, I will excuse myself.", said Axel and then left the stadium while all of them were staring at Axel.

As he just came out of the building, he was swarmed by a lot of reporters.

"Mr. Axel, Please tell me why were you so rude to the gym leader?"

"Mr. Axel, is this how Kanto trainer's act?"

"Mr. Axel, can I have a moment of your time?"

Axel could see that most of the reporters were from Johto region but there were some of reporters that were in the Kanto region too. One of them was from Hakone city. Yes, his city. He didn't know from where this reporter got the information that he was battling here.

The name of their channel was Hakone times. It was a local T.V.

Axel looked at all of them and then said to keep quiet cause he was not hearing anything.

"Please ask one thing at a time. Silence!!! I will only take one question.", said Axel started to look at the reporter and pointed out to the Hakone times reporter.

"Yes, you may ask."

"Sir, it looks like the gym leader and you don't have a good relationship. Are there some hidden things that we don't know about?"

Axel chose this person cause this person was from his city so he thought that the person would ask a favorable question. And he didn't disappoint. He asked a neutral question but Axel was okay with that.

"I have heard from an internal source that the trainers from Kanto region are not treated well in Johto region. I didn't believe it at first but I was proven wrong.

When the trainers are waiting in the waiting room, for the start of the gym battle, it is customary for the gym leader to come to the waiting room and introduce himself. But he didn't. I have to wait for an hour doing nothing.

The duty of the gym leader is not to fight the trainers in a real battle, to win and show off. The duty of the gym leader is to check if the trainer is capable. This is written in the law. But Roy did the opposite. If the gym leader is impressed by the trainer's performance, he/she could also give the trainer some benefits like money and resources. I think I did a lot to impress him but he did none of that. He started to say that the Kanto trainers were trash. So, I have to prove him wrong."

"Sir, does that mean every gym leader of the Johto region will act like this to Kanto region trainers?"

"I don't know cause I have not met them."

"Final question. Is it safe for the Kanto region trainer to come to the Johto region?"

"No comments."

After saying that the guard helped him get out of the crowd of reporters. Axel thought that Roy got what he deserved.

He went to the hotel room and ordered some food. Then he went to treat his Pokemons in the Pokemon center.

It was already afternoon by the time he came out of the Pokemon center. Primeape needed some time to rest and Axel was told to pick it up in the evening.

After such a thrilling battle, Axel could not sit in the hotel room all alone. However, he didn't have anything to do right now. He didn't want to train right now and he didn't want to go shopping. So, he was getting bored.

He decided to go to the league association and see if there were some interesting missions.

Money didn't entice him now. That was why he had stopped doing these missions long time ago. However, when you have a king-rank Pokemon, you could get access to some interesting missions in the league association and not all of them reward money. Some of them also rewarded some interesting resources.

"Hello, welcome to the league association. How may I help you?", asked the receptionist.

"I am here to take some missions."

"Oh, can you show me your rank so that I can give you appropriate missions?"

"Well, here is the thing. It had been some time since I took the mission here and my Pokemons have been upgraded a bit."

"Oh, what is the highest rank of Pokemon that you have?"

"A tier 3 king rank Pokemon."

"Really? Sir, if this is true, then first we have so see your Pokemons and determine their ranks. We cannot upgrade your rank just based on your words."

"I understand."

"Follow me.", said the receptionist and then Axel was taken to a big training ground.

"Sir you can show your entire party of Pokemons here."

Axel then sent out 4 king rank Pokemons. One of them being Slowemperor. He didn't show Shedinja, Charizard and Alakazam. Those were his trump cards.

When the receptionist looked at the Poke card of Axel for more information, she froze. This was the famous trainer who had recently challenged the gym leader and had won. She became extra polite after seeing the identity of Axel.

"Sir, your rank has been upgraded to S rank. Being a S-rank member, you don't have to visit the league association physically to see the missions. You can do it from your home too. We give a pass code and you can enter that into our website for more information."

She then gave him an envelope saying that the pass code was inside here. This was a sophisticated way of doing things and Axel was happy about it. He thought to go home and just look at the internet.

Today he wanted to give himself a day off too. He decided to watch some movies with his Pokemons. Pidgeot loved to see movies and it had been telling Axel to see one for some time.

First, he started to look at the missions of the League association. The website was fairly easy to go through. There were missions from all over the whole. He only selected Johto region for now.

Then he selected those missions that gave resources, items or connections. All the missions were rewarded other than money. He had already received 1 billion Poke dollars from Roy. He didn't want to earn any money right now.

There were some of the missions that were related to exploration of the unknown islands and some of them were to look at the hideouts of one of the criminal organizations, Envy.

Now, this was interesting. He had once met members of Greed and now there was Envy? He had also heard about Pride which operated in the Kanto region.

He wanted to know more about so he did a quick search but there was nothing about such things. The mission relating to finding out the possible location of Envy was interesting and it was because of the reward. The reward was one of the resources, that would make the teeth of Feraligatr strong, sharp and deadly. This was a premium item and only Toise family produced such an item. It was not found anywhere else.

The mission said that a group of 5 trainers could accept this mission. Before accepting the mission, he had to know how powerful these criminal organizations were. So, he called Red but Red didn't pick up the phone.

Then he called Blue and fortunately, he picked up the phone.

"Hey Axel, long time."

"Yeah, Blue. It has been a long time. What are you doing right now?"

"Oh, I am on vacation right now with my family. The expedition to unknown places is very dangerous. I am thinking of taking a break."

"That is good to hear. By the way, why are you so focused on these expeditions?"

"Oh, you don't know? I am the CEO of Explorer Association."

"What? Really? How come I didn't know about it till now?"

"Well, I am not a show-off like Red.", laughed Blue.

"So, how good is your organization? I mean I met with them and had a mission with them but how big is it?"

"Every region seems to have its own Explorer association. We also formed one in the Kanto region and I am the leader of it. I can say that we are pretty big and we are also powerful."

"So, you are the Fleet Admiral of the Explorer Association."

"That I am."

Explorer association also had ranks. There were 12 ranks in total and Fleet Admiral was the final rank.

"So, why did you call me? Is there anything that you need?"

"Yes, I am thinking of taking a mission from the league association and I found one to look out for the hideout of Envy. I just want to ask, how powerful are they?"

"Oh, I don't have all the details like Red on this one. Red is the one who is interested in catching criminals. But what I can say is that they are fairly strong. There are 7 major criminal organizations that have come up. Pride, Greed, Envy, Gluttony, lust, wrath and sloth. You may have heard of them but what you may not have known is that all of them are part of the organization of the single big organization. The name of the organization is called seven deadly sins. Quite poetic isn't it?"

"So, is it safe for me to take this mission?"

"I don't think that it is safe. You are now a powerful trainer and the mission might be easy for you. But if the leader of the organization is present there, then you are toast.

If you want to take the mission, then I suggest that you get some capable friends by your side."

"Oh, thanks for the input. Where is Red right now? I could not contact him."

"Oh, I don't know. I think he is busy with Ash."

They talked for sometime and then Axel hung off the phone. Now, he didn't know what to do. The mission was not as easy as per Blue.

He started to do some research and it was already late in the evening. So, he ordered some food for himself and his Pokemons, ate it, and then went to bed.

Maybe he would find something interesting tomorrow.
