Since this move had high penetrating power, the poison in this move entered Nidorino's body and it not only paralyzed as it was a paralyzing poison but also opened a door for other poison to enter.

It then used 'Poison spread' and 'Poison damage transfer' and then used the move 'Fissure' on top of the ground.

That 'Fissure' was powerful. It was above level 45 and Nidoking used its full force in that move. Nidorino might be no more after using this move. However, Nidoking could still feel that it was sucking health from 'Poison damage transfer'. This might be due to the residual life energy left in Nidorino's body but Nidoking was still vigilant.

Nidorino wanted to start the battle in an easy way and then increase its power later. It was fighting against a tier 1 king-rank Pokemon so it was not so serious. However, Nidoking came with its strong moves.

It used multiple moves and didn't even give Nidorino any time to counterattack. Nidorino was weak against ground-type moves so the moves like 'Dig' and 'Fissure' were super effective against it. Even if it was a tier 2 king-rank Pokemon, it may not survive after being hit by so many moves.

There was a purple bone-type structure that was covering its body and it was literally levitating on the ground.

'What type of move is this? Can a poison-type Pokemon really do this?', thought Nidoking. It had heard that just like ghost-type energies, poison type also had many types of energies. So, this Nidorino was using one of those types and Nidoking could tell that this type of energy was perfect for it.

But it also knew that this Nidorino was not going to tell it even if it died here.

Nidoking had already used 'Poison armor' and also created armors after using 'Sand construct' when it heard the explosion. It was ready for round two.

Then suddenly, the speed of Nidorino increased to a very high level and it struck Nidoking using 'Horn attack'. It was so fast that even Nidoking could not properly see its movement. The sand armor was pierced and there were also cracks in 'Poison armor'.

The power of this move seemed to be very high as Nidoking knew that its defense was very high right now. Nidoking could only seem to defend Nidorino's moves as it could not even properly see it.

The 'Poison damage transfer' was still working but Nidoking was getting many injuries now. After fighting for 10 minutes, Nidoking was able to use multiple 'Mud bombs' on Nidorino's body which stuck on its body and made its body heavier.

So, the speed had decreased a lot and now Nidoking was also fighting against it. Nidoking realized that this was the time as it was going to use its own domain move, it felt something and then it started to glow.

As Nidorino was going to kill Nidoking during its rank-up, it suddenly stopped. It didn't stop by itself but it was stopped by an unknown force and it started to float on the ground.

"What is happening? Is this the curse that they say?", shouted Nidorino.

"You cannot interfere with the process. Don't you know about this?", came a voice that directly hit its mind and it felt an unbearable pain from all over its body as it crashed to the ground and started to scream.

Nidorina, who was seeing this could not take it and started to run towards Nidorino but since it was also fighting against Lance's Dragonite, it could not. Dragonite took advantage of it and gave a powerful blow to Nidorina.

Meanwhile, Nidoking ranked up to tier 2 king rank. Finally, it had ranked up. Its hard work had paid off. It felt that a shackle that was holding it had been released.

It already knew that Nidorino was going to kill it during the rank-up. So it was obviously very angry. At first, it didn't want to kill this Nidorino as it was the same species. But now, such a thing had left its mind.

Golem was fighting against Alakazam and Shedinja. It was an easy fight for 2 of them as it was 2 against one. Both of them had finished the battle before Nidoking could finish its battle.

They were now helping others in their battle. Since Nidoking had just ranked up, all of its stamina had been healed and its stamina was back on top. So, it looked towards the battle and found out that the battle against king-rank Pokemons was going to be over.

So, it concentrated on pseudo-king rank Pokemons. It used its 'Sludge wave', 'Poison spread', and 'Poison damage transfer' and then used 'Substitute'. After using 'Substitute', it basically dominated the battle against numerous pseudo-king rank Pokemons.

Then it used many moves like 'Horn attack', 'Mud bombs', and 'Poison balls'. After it used 'Poison domain' and then used the move 'Spinning poison' to do a large amount of damage.

Nidoking had basically managed to kill a large number of Pokemons and they were able to finish the battle very soon.

All of them cheered their drinks on a major victory today. They had lost very few soldiers today and Axel was happy about it. The numbers were very low and the tide was not over but Axel could tell that the number would be below 5%.

The 3 super teams had done it. They contributed a lot and due to them, they were able to kill so many Pokemons in a short time. Axel's strategy had worked.

"Sir, what is your future plan? We were able to kill a good amount of king-rank Pokemons today but I don't think that it is over.", said Hector.

"Yes, it is not over and I cannot even tell how many king-rank Pokemons that we have to fight. We cannot go there and see right now. But we must be prepared. Until that tier 3 king-rank Pokemon is dead, we have to be prepared.

"Congrats buddy. You finally did it.", said Axel as he patted its back.

Nidoking had been wanting this for a long time and now it had finally done it.

"So, Marcus, you told us that you have something important to tell us. We are all here now. So, what is it?", asked Axel.

All the ghost-type Pokemons were already finished so there was no night raid and no need for Shedinja at night. Axel did position some guards at night just to be sure but he knew that there would be no battle at night.

"Axel, when I was training under Agnus (Gengar), I came to know crucial information. If we want to reach the champion rank, we have to have sufficient knowledge and understanding of one of the energies of our core type.", said Shedinja.

"What do you mean?"

"You must know that ghost-type core is divided into 3 types of energies. Darkness, soul, and shadow. If one wants to reach the champion rank, one must at least have sufficient knowledge and understanding of one of those energies. And if we want to reach master rank, we must master one of that energy."
