Final confession

"As expected " Mon utters.

"Who stopped you? " Jake asks, stepping closer to the driver. He leaned back as Jake moved closer to him.

"I couldn't see he was wearing a mask and a cap. He asked me not to go to that address. When I refused he gave me a bundle of cash and said if I don't agree with him, he will kill my family members"

"And you believed him? He did not even know you! "Mr dayal asks. He was stunned by the stupidness of this man.

" I didn't but when I saw the money… I couldn't think of anything else but follow him. I am a poor man. Driving doesn't pay for all the requirements of my family, so I thought… it's okay. However, the day you guys caught me he started to blackmail me not to say anything. He has got all the information about my family "the driver says, shedding tears.

" Then why are you confessing now? "

Dayal asks, letting his hands out in the air.

"I know, I can't get away with this. Sir, please save my family. " He said.

"They are safe now. We already guessed it. Anyways, tell us if you remember any specific details about the person? " Dayal asks.

"Well, I don't remember anything because he was all disguised in black."

He replied.

"Then what about the cologne? "

Jake interrupted.

Sid elbows him into his ribs making Jake grunt.

"No.. But he was of the same height as you"

"Okay."Jake says, putting a satisfactory smile on his face to know that he was guessing right.

"Is there anything else that you know? " Sid asks.

"Umm… that ambulance. Actually I lied to you. There was a lorry that was following me and until we reached the tunnel everything was fine. Then the truck stops all of a sudden and I somehow managed to put the break to. That's when the person came out of the truck and spoke to me. Later, when I agreed to him, he asked me to get inside the truck. There was another ambulance that took my place. After that I just remember we were back to the tunnel again and I was asked to drive back to the hospital"

"That's exactly what dayal talked about! " Sid murmured to Jake.

Jake returned a fake smile and turned his back to the driver.

"Okay. I guess you already spoke your part. Sid, take him out. " Dayal orders.

He immediately stood up and followed Sid towards the door.

"Now let's listen to Mr. Housekeeper. " Dayal says air quoting the prefix.

"I have nothing to say. " He mutters.

"Do you think you can get away with this? " Dayal asks.

"I don't know anything" He looks straight up into Dayals eyes.

"Did you kill the previous house maid? "

"I.. I didn't do it… no.. I never killed anyone. "

He trembled with nervousness.

"You did it. Otherwise, how will you get inside the house? You were there for days not because you wanted to work for him but for your boss. Isn't it? " Dayal says, raising his brows.

"How did.." The housekeeper stutters.

"It was not very tough to guess this simple thing. Now the point is, who ordered you to do that? " Jake asks.

"I swear, I neither killed the lawyer nor the housemaid. "

"But you did something for sure!"

"Anyways Jake, he will get the punishment along with his leader. "Sam adds.

" Besides, we have already got the confession from that driver. "Mon says.

" I didn't kill him, seriously! But yes, I was asked to fit cameras at his house, so that we get all the information about him. "He says lowering his head.

" What? "Dayal says.

"Yes that's all I know. "

"Where are the cameras now? To whom did you give those footage? "

"I don't know who he is. Actually, he gives orders on the phone. Nobody has seen him. For the cameras I took them out later."

"You took them out on the day of the murder right? "Mr.dayal guesses.

"Y… yes. That's when I saw that guy. " He says.

"Kunal? "Mon assumes.

"Yeah."He nods

"Then we can say, this was all done under the Minister's orders" Jake says, biting the inside of his mouth.

"I don't know who he is. " The housekeeper says with a nod.

They looked at each other and then called the police. He already confessed everything to them and now they just needed to catch their so-called leader to end this case.

The driver was a witness for all the things that happened within the mysterious tunnel and they needed to save him till the end. Apparently, he will join the housekeeper too. For now these are the only people who have been accused but Black was sure that there will be more of them.

Meanwhile, not much later Mr. Loy comes in with a white envelope on his hand. He hands it to Mr dayal.

Dayal takes the envelope and reads the name written above it. He's eyes eyes widen as he reads it again. He looks up at Loy who was holding the same surprised look on his face.

"To Mr. Vikram Dayal from Mr. Faizan Hussain. " He reads.

He opened the envelope to see a letter.
