Chapter 5 The Date

"Ryder I changed my mind, I'd love to go on that date it was a long morning and you asked me during class one of the worst times." I explained to Ryder with my best "I'm so not being forced to do this" smile.

Ryder just looked up to me from his tray with the biggest smile.

"Re-Rea-Really.?!?!?" He exclaimed with the biggest kiddish smile ever.

I shot Damion a glare.

He gave me his famous smirk and a stern look that read " remember what I said".

"Yes Ryder I'd love to." I replied.

He looked like he wanted to get up and jump around like some person who just won the lottery for a million dollars.

I tried my best to smile at him and just walk away he kinda had a sad face when I walked away.

Ryder's P.O.V

O.M.G she said yes!!! I looked over at Damion with the biggest smile ever.

"Damion, She said yes!" I whispered.

"I told you she was gonna didn't I." He replied ruffling my hair.

"Damion"I whined."I'm not a little kid."

"Come on let's so find her." He said getting up and grabbing his tray.

"Why?" I looked up at him confused.

"Because we didn't agree on a time for that date and we don't have her number plus, we don't want to bother her during class and her getting mad again do we?" He replied dumping our trays.

" No we don't." I replied walking out of the lunch room.

I spotted her next to her locker talking to her friend. Roxxie was her name. I think.

I walked up to her nervously with Damion by my side.

"Hey Carmen." I said walking up to her smiling.

"Hey Ryder." She replied sounding kinda annoyed.

"I'll uh see you later Cara." Roxxie said excusing herself.

"So-uh we didn't -uh." I started.

Damion put a hand on my shoulder and finished for me.

"We didn't get a time for the Date. And we don't have your phone number."

Carmen looked between us and opened her mouth to speak. But before she could the stupid bell rang.

"I got to go boys. Sorry." Carmen told us. With that she walked away.

Carmens P.O.V

After last hour I rushed out of school and into my car speeding away to avoid them asking for my number maybe then I could play it off later. I got a glimpse of Ryders sad face as I was driving out of the parking lot.

When I got home I walked up stairs and took a shower. Then sat on my bed to do homework.

As I got started my phone went off. When I opened it I seen a couple message. I checked the unknown number message first.

Mysterious Number- why'd you leave in such a hurry?

ME- who's this?

Mysterious Number- Be ready in 15 minutes were on our way. The Date remember 😉.

ME- Damion 🙄.

Mysterious Number- It's me now hurry up.

I went to reply but the door bell went off. I went down stairs to open it leaving my phone and homework up stairs.

"Hey Beautiful."Damion said when I opened the door.

"You look Gorgeous." Ryder said.

"How did you guys figure out were I lived?"

"Well we didn't have your number yet because you ran outta school before you could give it to us and Roxxie helped us out." Ryder beamed happily.

I looked at Damion wasn't he just texting me? All he did was just put a finger to his mouth and shh me.

"Right well I'm not ready I was doing homework."

"You look fine. Come on." Damion said.

"You look Gorgeous Carmen." Ryder replied.

"Fine at least let me get my phone from upstairs." I said running up the stairs not waiting for a reply.

I ran into my room and tried fixing up my hair and clothes a little bit.

"I'm ready." I yelled coming down the stairs.

"Tables for three?" The hostess asked.

"Yes Please." Ryder beamed.

"Follow me." The hostess replied back grabbing some menus and heading for a table.

"Here you go." The hostess finished setting down our menus.

"Thank You" I replied sitting down along with the boys. 

"Can I start you off with something to drink?"She flirted looking at the boys.

"What would you like to drink baby?" Ryder asked me sweetly. 

"a waters fine. Thank You." I answered looking at the pissed waitress.

"And what would you to like?"The waitress asked them boys sweetly.

"Pepsi. What would you like Ryder?"

"Same as you."Ryder blushed out looking at me.

"Two Pepsis coming right up."replied the waitress with an eye roll.

"And the water for be beautiful date." Ryder mumbled to the walking away waitress.

"Heres the two pepsis." Flirted the waitress setting down there drinks and touching there hand has she pulled away.

"And the wa-" said the waitress spilling ny water all over my lap

"What the hell." I exlaimed

"-ter oh im so sorry." She smirked.

"I want the manager."

The waitress and I looked to a irritatingly calm Damon.

"Excuse me what did you say handsome?"

"I'd like the manager or a different waitress actually preferably a waiter."

"Um yes sir." She whispered and walked off.

Ryder grabbed napkins and tried drying me off.

"Ryder I can do it its fine."

"That was really rude. Damon I didn't like her attitude." Ryder turns to Damon with a pout.

"I know Ryder we are getting a waiter."

I finished drying my self off when the waiter came.

"Two Pepsi and one water for the lady. I apologise for the waitress."

"Thank you" I replied with a awkward smile

"You guys ready to order?"

"Sure. Damon can I go first? Can I? Can I?" Ryder exclaimed jumping up and down like a child.

"Yes Ryder you may." Damon smiled.

Ryder seems to act like a child around Damon and Damon seems to be the more mature one.

"I want Spaghetti."

"I'll take the spaghetti too." Stated Damon.

"I'll have the spaghetti too."

"Three spaghettis coming right up."

"That was amazing thank you guys."

" No problem Carmen. I had fun."Ryder beamed.

"See you tomorrow."

"See you guys tomorrow." I replied shutting my door, going upstairs to brush my teeth change into pajamas and go to sleep.
