Fiery

"Which Universal being was sealed?" Mordo asked me while keeping an eye on the X-Men.

"Phoenix Force," I answered him while making plans on how to deal with the group. I didn't want to hurt them all, just Charles, and maybe Logan and Scott. The others haven't done anything to me.

"Powers and information?" Mordo then asked while looking at Ororo, who had lightning striking around her. He was able to sense the most dangerous one that might attack us.

I cast an Observe on her. The previous time there was something that I wasn't able to see.

[Mutant Powers: Atmokinesis]

[Powers: Minor Godhood]

Well, shit! Ororo was actually a Goddess! I hope Mordo can handle her if she attacks because I'm running away if she goes after me.

"Ororo Munroe descendant of some Ayesha of Balobedu, weather control, and minor Godhood. Just don't let her smite me, I can deal with the rest," I said, having no desire to come to blows with her.

"Ayesha of Balobedu? Huh, never thought I'd get in a fight with a descendant of a Sorcerer Supreme." Mordo ignored the fact that Ororo is considered a minor Goddess as if it wasn't even relevant.

That's not important, Mordo. You are a lower level than her and just a Sorcerer, a strong one, but you are still just a Sorcerer.

Ororo looked a bit confused at his statement, but the winds didn't slow down, and lightning kept striking around her.

While the two were having their stare off, I used Observe on the other X-Men.

There wasn't much to learn from. Kurt was utterly confused and distressed at what has happened with Jean. Although I found out his father is Azazel, like the Fallen Angel? Or is that just a coincidence.

Anna Marie didn't seem to care too much. She was almost indifferent about the situation. Shows how good of a teammate she is.

Warren was angry that I had taken Jean away and that he didn't know her situation. He still had a crush on her.

Bobby was angry yet happy at the same time. He cared about Jean, but if she wasn't there, Scott would have more time for him. Don't worry, Bobby, she is safe, but she probably won't be returning to the X-Men. I don't think the Ancient One would allow Jean to stay with someone like Charles Xavier, who had no idea what he was messing with.

Scott was absolutely furious that he didn't know what's happening with the love of his life. He was ready to kill me on the spot, no surprise there.

Who the hell was this Nathaniel Essex to be able to manipulate him in such a way? I will have to be careful of this guy.

The last one was Logan, who was trying to climb the building using his metal claws. He was actually doing a great job and had almost reached us.

I had to admit, Logan had a terrible history. He was born in 1884 and was over 100 years old. Killed his own father when he was young, later on, killed the cousin, who he was in love with. Lived with wolfs for years. Then he was captured and experimented on. Fought and survived multiple wars, even the bombing of Hiroshima. He had severe PTSD.

That was pretty sad, but there was something disturbing that I saw. Logan was secretly in love with Jean Grey. What the heck? Jean can literally be his gran-granddaughter! How the hell is he in love with her?

"Where is she?" Logan screamed, nearly climbed up to the top of the building.

I wasn't too worried about him. I couldn't see his level, but his powers were nothing that scared me.

[Mutant Power: Regenerative Healing Factor; Retractable Bone Claws; Enhanced Senses]

[Powers: Adamantium laced skeleton]

Logan was an entirely physical character, which stood no chance against me even if he was over 50 levels above me. I bombarded him with energy constructs and Spinning Mana Bullets until he fell off the building. Before he hit the ground, I created a portal underneath him.

I quickly looked up and made another portal in the high in the air. Logan fell out of the one first one I made and straight into the next one. The exit to that one was even higher in the air, and he was stuck in a constant loop of falling over and over and over again.

Ahh, the beauty of portals. One of the strongest members of the X-Men was taken out in a second with them.

[Sense Danger has increased to 9.]

The skill alerted me of Scott trying to fire his lasers at me, but I created a portal underneath him and connected it to the one in the air. He was sent to have fun skydiving with Logan.

[Portal Creation has increased to 6.]

"Ahhh!"

"Ahhh!"

"Ahhh!"

Their shrieks were heard from high in the sky while they constantly kept falling over and over again.

Warren tried flying up in the air to help them, but I captured him with energy constructs. He had no chance of escaping as he was the lowest level of them all.

At that moment, Ororo decided to make her move, but so did Mordo. He had been watching her carefully.

Mordo snapped his staff, which separated into multiple parts, all held by fiery energy. That was pretty normal, I've seen that so many times already when we sparred.

However, suddenly a massive amount of energy burst out of Mordo, or the staff to be more precise.

[<Wielder of the Staff of the Living Tribunal> Karl Mordo Lvl. ???]

His level skyrocketed, and I was no longer able to see it. Checking out the staff with Observe, explained how it happened.

[Staff of the Living Tribunal - Unsealed(Artifact): A staff imbued with a fraction of the powers of the Living Tribunal. All stats +400 and can seal the powers of those capture by the staff when unsealed. The staff can only be unsealed once a month for only 1 hour.]

Holy crap! + 400 to all stats! What?!?! That's so much more compared to my own Artifact weapon! I wonder if Mordo would be willing to trade weapons, or maybe he can lend it to me for an indefinite amount of time. I really, really want it.

Now I understand why he didn't even care that Ororo was considered a minor Goddess. He can literally win with a single move against her, and that's what he did. I really want this staff now.

Mordo blocked a lighting strike with an energy shield while his staff flew at Ororo. It was so fast that she had no time to react, and the staff got a hold of her. It circled around her and tightly constrained her, which... also showed off her figure nicely.

Mordo! I didn't know you were into this kind of stuff! I didn't know you were this kind of guy!

I turned to look at the other X-Men, Kurt included, and was about to ask where Charles Xavier is once more. However, Mordo suddenly brought a hand to his head, before yelling, "Get out of my head!"

Charles had obviously made his move, which wasn't a smart idea. All the Masters of the Mystical Arts were trained in how to defend their minds. There are a lot of evil beings that are very proficient in the mind arts, so that was a requirement for them.

Mordo was also boosted by the unsealed Staff of the Living Tribunal, so Charles had no chance to succeed there.

I didn't have to worry about it. Gamer's Mind protected me from mind attacks, and I was perfectly safe.

Bobby did fire a few ice spikes at us, but I blocked them all with a firewall. He noticed that we weren't actively trying to hurt the other members, so he shrugged his shoulders and stopped.

Kurt teleported next to me, but he didn't attack me. Danger Sense also didn't alert me to anything that might harm me. Mordo didn't attack him since I also didn't.

"Vhy didn't you tell me you had powers?" Kurt asked, sounding a bit hurt.

"Why didn't you tell me you had powers?" I asked back the same question.

"I did tell you in 9th grade, but you didn't remember the next day..." Kurt said, knowing why I didn't remember that.

I. Was. Pissed. Xavier had messed with my mind! That fucking bastard had removed the memory of Kurt telling me he was a mutant!

With Gamer's Mind doing its job, I was calmly thinking of how to fuck up the manipulative shit.

Shortly, Charles Xavier arrived on a wheelchair that was being pushed by a mutant, whom I would've assumed was Kurt's father if I didn't see the text over his head.

[<Beast of the X-Men> Henry McCoy Lvl. 97]

[Mutant Powers: Ape Physiology; Feline Physiology]

Another physical character. If he decides to attack, I can just send him over to the portal loop to skydive with Logan and Scott.

[<Professor X> Charles Xavier Lvl. 99]

Xavier was 50 levels above me, but his physical strength was non-existent. He was a pure mental character that couldn't do anything to me.

[Mutant Powers: Telepathy(Powerful); Telekinesis(Weak)]

He had a 'tragic' backstory, but I didn't really care about that. It meant little to me. He was concerned about all the X-Men, but he was mostly worried about Jean... because apparently, he was also secretly in love with her. This is getting out of hand! Jean is still a teenager! You can be her dad, you bald sicko!

What the fuck is wrong with the X-Men? All the males, except for Henry and Bobby, had an interest in Jean. I don't understand how she managed to deal with all of them on a daily basis.

"Why are all bald people so weird?" I asked before turning to Mordo, who was looking at me strangely.

"It was a slip of the tongue, I didn't mean you," I quickly said, but Mordo gave me the stink eye.

[Lying has increased to 26.]

"What is the meaning of this?" Xavier dared to ask.

"We have no..." That's as far as he got before I shot a whip made of energy at him. Henry got in the way to stop the attack, but he had to leave Xavier's wheelchair.

That's all I needed. I dismissed the spell and created a portal underneath Charles, which landed him right in front of me.

"Hello, bald pervert," I said with a smile like the one Mordo had in the morning.

Xavier looked surprised, he hadn't expected me to teleport him right to me. He was about to open his mouth, but I didn't want to listen to him.

"This is for wiping MY memories!" I punched him in the gut while making sure he doesn't fly off his wheelchair with my Telekinesis.

"This is for being a pervert and lusting over someone who can literally be your daughter!" I pounded him once more.

"This is for putting the entire world in danger with your bright idea of sealing one of the strongest beings in the Universe!" Xavier passed out from the last attack, but I was having none of that.

A quick activation of my Massage skill, and he was up and about once more, clutching his stomach in pain.

"Wha... are... you... talking... about?" Xavier had to take deep breaths before every word. I think I broke a rib or two, maybe more. He should be thankful I didn't have Mana Strengthening activated, or there might've been a hole in his stomach.

Kurt was dumbstruck while staring at me as I punched Xavier. He didn't stop me, however.

I did notice Henry was rushing towards the building, but a quick portal under his feet, and he was screaming along with Logan and Scott. Portals are truly OP.

I was contemplating off giving Xavier some of my Health Potions, so I can continue punching him and making sure he was alive when I heard a portal open up behind me.

The Ancient One stepped out, looking a bit fatigued, but still as bald as ever. Her eyes instantly bore into Xavier.

"Hello, Charles," She said, and he looked up. His eyes widened, seemingly recognizing her.

The Ancient One turned to me. "She wants to see you. Let me deal with him myself. We haven't spoken in a long time."

The last one was directed to Xavier, who looked frightened by her. That, I agree with, the Ancient One can be very scary when she wants to.

I stepped towards the portal and said, "You might want to do something about the sky diving trio," before I entered.

It led to the room the Ancient One used to treat Jean, who was sitting on the bed and looking at the wall.

[<Host of the Phoenix Force> Jean Grey Lvl. 92]

Ummm, what? She gained over 50 levels? Hello? GM, I found another cheater!

Jean noticed me and stood up. Small fires burned in her green eyes as she stepped towards me. They weren't dark like the previous time, so I felt safe, but then I felt an invisible force surround and restrain me.

What? I don't want to die after all of this!

Jean stepped closer as I was trying to struggle free. She tiptoed right in front of me and quickly kissed me on the lips.

What?

Her lips were so soft, but I couldn't pay attention to that as I felt a small fire enter my mouth. It didn't burn me, and it even felt pleasant.
