XLII. Searching the Greater.

Lancelot sauntered to the wall at the bottom. Now between an artificial feeling of safety and a close distance of two meters, Vanilla could see the engravings and patrons carved on the limestone wall ahead.

Animals, humans eyes, chandeliers, and other things that looked like ancient relics formed rows on it, like a marching army of toys and figures.

"What are these about?" She asked. "I'm pretty sure they are Egyptian. But why would they be here?"

"Sir William Oaths really liked Egyptian, Persian, and other Mediterranean stuff," The skeleton responded. "He wanted them to decorate the place of his treasures."

"Well, it's the only thing right here we've seen that's not dull and grey, I mean, boring," Vanilla said, with an unimpressed tone.

"Oh, but there's more ahead. This wall marks a border between the dull outside and his personal sanctuary."

Personal sanctuary? She wondered how deep those tunnels could be. "How do we get inside?"
