CHAPTER 34

Jungkook opened his apartment door with shaky hands, he closed the door and checked twice that the door was closed firmly , after that he switched off his phone and then closed all the windows of the house.

But that was not enough, his hands were trembling and he was covered with sweat , he was too paranoid , he just stood there in the middle of the living room trembling looking around making sure that he was safe .

He went inside his bedroom and closed the door and then went to his bed and covered himself with the duvet. He laid there shaking.

'how is it possible he died , he died , Nyx died my mom killed him , no ,no, no someone is definitely playing prank I should not be afraid no I should not" Jungkook thought to himself , more like he was convincing himself that he was safe. Everything was okay. He constantly repeated in his mind but then he remembered his mother.

"Bunny, my love come to mommy"

"bunny see mommy made cake"

"bunny see, mommy bought new clothes"

"Bunny mommy loves you"

"Mommy will always be by your side and always support you"

"Bunny mommy will always protect you"

And that was the breaking point , Jungkook burst into tears , he was crying badly , his mother kept all her promises like making cake for him, buying him clothes , always supporting him and always protecting him but she broke the most important promise and that was to always stay by his side.

"where are you mommy I miss you so much , I want to hug you and tell all my problems to you but you are not here" He said to no one while crying , his face became red , his eyes became puffy.

Jungkook didn't knew when he fell asleep, but when he opened his eyes he heard the doorbell ringing ,his body started to shake again , he became scared again , he closed his eyes and went inside the duvet , he was so scared that he was curled into a ball .

He nearly had a heart attack when he felt that there was someone on his bed but he calmed down as soon as he heard the deep calming voice

"Koo, its us"

As soon as Jungkook heart Taehyung's voice he sat up straight on the bed , When Taehyung and Jimin saw Jungkook's puffy eyes and red cheeks their heart broke , they blamed themselves for not being there for Jungkook while he was crying.

After seeing his two lovers Jungkook had the urge to cry again , no one said anything , Taehyung and Jimin just hugged him and laid on the bed while Jungkook was silently crying. "he is back , what should I do why fate is so cruel to me what will I do if he hurts you guys. he said in a shaky voice

Taehyung and Jimin hugged him more tightly . "nothing will happen Koo don't worry no one can separate us" Jimin said and then sung a song for Jungkook so that he can calm down.

By the time Jimin finished the song Jungkook fell asleep.

The men which were assigned to protect Jungkook told Taehyung and Jimin about the phone call and his panic attack , the two knew who must have called Jungkook , they tried to call Jungkook but his phone was switched off and that scared them so they reached his apartment as soon as they could , only to find that Jungkook had locked himself inside the house , thankfully they had the spare keys which Jungkook himself gave to them.

Taehyung and Jimin also soon went to sleep.

Two days later

Jungkook Taehyung and Jimin were sitting inside the car and they were headed to meet their friend. Taehyung and Jimin told Jungkook everything they knew about Nyx and they also told him that Jisoo also knows about Nyx.

Jungkook was touched after knowing that his boyfriends care so much about him , his love for them increased even more. Jungkook's mother and brother were also worried about him since he didn't pick up their call after he left the home , Jungkook told her that he was okay.

Jisoo and Jackson also came to meet him after Taehyung and Jimin told her everything , Both brother and sister hugged each other and cried ,and comforted each other. Jungkook didn't tell anything to his mother and brother since he didn't want them to worry.

Soon the car stopped in front of a police station

"let me call him, he will come outside to pick us up" Jimin said and then called someone . Soon a beautiful young woman came out and came towards their car

"Mr. Park , Mr. Kim " she said and both Taehyung and Jimin nodded "please come with me I am Mr. Kim's junior my name is Park Chaeyoung , Mr. kim is waiting for you inside his office" she said and went inside the building and Taehyung and Jimin followed her .

"Mr. Kim your guest are here" she said as she entered the office of her senior followed by Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook

The young man who was sitting in his chair wearing all black clothes and a specs looked up from the files that he was reading

"Tae, Jim my boys come in" He said and gave a quick hug to Taehyung and Jimin

"hello Kai hyung" Taehyung said and then introduced Jungkook to Kai

"Koo this is our friend Kai and Kai this is Jungkook our boyfriend"

"nice to meet you Jungkook" Kai said as he shook hands with Jungkook

"Same here"

"so lets get to the point , rose go and bring the files" Kai said to rose and then turned to the trio "in these two days I gathered all the information I could , Nyx is not a new name in the criminal world many of the police officers tried to catch him but failed" Kai paused and took the files that rose brought.

"After you told me about Nyx and Jang Nara I looked into the case Nyx' real name was Kang Jihoon , and he was a human trafficker I think you already know that , now coming to Jang Nara" as soon as Jungkook heard his mother's name his became stiff , Taehyung and Jimin held both his hand to comfort him

"I hope you are ready to hear this" Kai said looking at Jungkook "Jang Nara was the one appointed to investigate Nyx she was one of the most clever and brave detective , she found many evidences and clues which were enough to give a death sentence to Nyx , she submitted those evidences to the police"

"But she also found out another thing and that was" Kai paused , took a deep breath and then continued " Kang Jihoon a.k.a Nyx had a son"

"what" Taehyung , Jimin and Jungkook said together

"yes he had a son" Kai then looked at the three "now , another thing that I want to say is , Jang Nara was raped and brutally beaten by Nyx but the she died because someone slit her throat and that was not Kang Jihoon"

Jungkook was slightly trembling after hearing all this

"so hyung who do you think must have killed her" Jimin asked

"The son maybe?" Kai said "the son must be older than you guys he must be at least 5-6 years older than you guys, when Jang Nara was murdered Jungkook was eight , so the son must be 13-14 years old, at that time the son had no one except his father so when Jungkook's mom murdered Nyx his son killed Jang Nara for revenge"

"but." Jungkook wanted to say something but kai stopped him

"I know you must be thinking that 13-14 years is a very young age, but you have to look at the situation differently Kang Jihoon a.k.a Nyx was a mentally unstable man , it won't be a surprise if his son also inherited the madness from his father and besides ever since the child was born he only had his father Nyx , Nyx must have taught him all the illegal activities , maybe Nyx wanted his son to follow his footsteps too"

"and it won't be a surprise if Nyx had taught his son to murder people as well" Kai said and Taehyung , Jimin and Jungkook nodded in understanding.

"so have you found anything about the son" Taehyung asked

"yup , after Nyx's death his son was sent to the orphanage and then he was adopted , his adopted parents named him as Seo youngho.
