CHAPTER 25~

"so son how was you stay in America" Mr. Jeon asked once all of them settled on the dinning table.

Mr. and Mrs. Jeon were constantly talking to Jaehyun while Jungkook was just sitting there quietly and ate his food , he had no intention of getting involved in any conversation with his father.

"Jungkook here , you should eat more" Mrs. Jeon said and put some food on Jungkook's plate.

"no mom I am okay" Jungkook said.

"bunny if mom is saying then you should eat more here take some more" Jaehyun said and put some more food on Jungkook's plate. Making Jungkook whine , Mrs. Jeon and Jaehyun smiled at his reaction.

"Don't be a baby Jungkook" Mr. Jeon said " and both of you stop pampering him he is not a baby any more" he said to Mrs. Jeon and Jaehyun , Jungkook clenched his fist after hearing his father's voice.

Mrs. Jeon smiled and said " Joonki he will always be my baby no matter what you say and don't try to stop me from pampering my children in future" Mrs. Jeon said in a stern voice.

Mr. Jeon sighed heavily before looking at Jungkook "how is your work going Jungkook , I hope you didn't cause any troubled to Mr. Kim"

Jungkook gritted his teeth and clenched his fist even more, Mr. Jeon met his son after so many days and instead of asking for Jungkook's well being he is more worried about his reputation , but then again this was Mr. Jeon we were talking about, the man who cares about nothing more than his reputation.

Mr. Jeon grew a little irritated when Jungkook didn't reply and kept on eating " I am asking you something Jungkook, answer me you ill mannered brat."

Jungkook laughed at this comment which shocked the other three people sitting on the table , he looked at his father with a smirk and said "ill- mannered? who? me" Jungkook said and then laughed again " seriously you out of all people have no right to call me ill mannered , you better get that in your head" Jungkook said

"what did you say ?" Mr. Jeon said raising his voice a little making Mrs. Jeon and Jaehyun a little worried.

"looks like your hearing capacity is decreasing with your age" Jungkook said and drank some water" you know a person like you who doesn't even know that 'one should not talk while eating' is calling me ill mannered, like seriously!" he said

Mr. Jeon banged his spoon on the table startling Mrs. Jeon and Jaehyun " how dare you talk to me like that you brat, " Mr. Jeon said but Jungkook was remained unaffected and continued eating his dinner " is this how i raised you"

"correction Mr. Jeon" Jungkook said and pointed a finger towards his father "you didn't raise me , my mother did , you gave me nothing other than you surname , you better know that"

"i have never seen a selfish and ungrateful bastard like you" Mr. Jeon said , his anger was increasing , and Mrs. jeon tried to calm him down but it was useless.

Jungkook raised a brow and smirked "why, you never saw a mirror before"

"JEON JUNGKOOK" Mr. Jeon said while he stood up , he was shaking with rage Mrs. Jeon and Jaehyun also stood up from their chairs and tried to calm Mr. Jeon. While Jungkook just sat their calmly finishing his meal.

"you bastard" Mr. Jeon said and Jungkook only smiled in return he loved making his father so pissed.

"honey calm down" Mrs. Jeon said " Jungkook apologize to your dad "

Jungkook wiped his mouth and said " i am sorry mom but i will not apologize to this man and especially after what i said is true"

Before Mrs. Jeon could say something, Mr. Jeon exploded with rage " you bastard how dare you talk back to me huh , who do you thing you are huh? you are nothing without my name and my money you are just a useless being whose entire existence is a mistake" Mr. Jeon said , Mrs. Jeon and Jaehyun widened their eyes .

"father

"Joonki ! he is you son, how can you say that to him"

Jungkook stopped moving for a second but then laughed bitterly as he stood up from his seat "a mistake, yeah sure, i am a biggest mistake made by you" Jungkook said and pointed his finger at Mr. Jeon" and you know what, mistakes like me never let you live peacefully , so Mr. Jeon you better don't expect any kind of good behavior from me, because you won't get it; have a good day Mr. Jeon."

Jungkook said and walked out of the house with a bitter smile, he had become immune to these words now , he no more cared what his father says to him Jungkook is not going to allow himself to get affected by his father's words . Just as he was about to sit in his car his brother stopped him.

"Jungkook" Jaehyun said "I am sorry for what father said he-"

"don't brother it isn't your fault , i am sorry that i ruined today's dinner "

"no its okay bro , but you are going to attend the wedding right?"

"don't worry hyung , i am going to attend your wedding, how can i not " Jungkook said with a smile.

Jaehyun smiled and hugged his brother and Jungkook hugged back.

all these words echoed in Jungkook's mind as he sat on a bench in a park.

The park was completely empty, there was complete silence , the only was made by the trees, Jungkook would always go for walks or to the orphanage whenever he would have a fight with his father .

Jungkook was just sitting their on the bench gazing at the sky, with a straight face ,thinking about todays events. if only he could go back in time and change his past .

"Jungkook"

Jungkook looked at the direction of voice only to find Taehyung standing there with a small polythene bag.

"what are you doing here Koo didn't you say you had dinner with your family today"

"i had my dinner" Jungkook said "i was just umm resting after walking"

Taehyung looked at Jungkook for a while ,he could tell that something was bothering Jungkook. He went near Jungkook and held his hand and said "what happened koo" Taehyung's asked gently , the gentleness in Taehyung's voice and the concern in his eyes almost made Jungkook cried.

After thinking of so many cruel words said to him and all the cruel things done to him while sitting in the park Jungkook couldn't handle the gentleness showed by Taehyung .

"nothing Taehyung", Jungkook said while looking away , unaware of the single tear that flowed down his cheek "i am fine" Jungkook said , Taehyung didn't say anything he just hugged Jungkook tightly .

"i am fine"

"i am okay"

"i am fine"

"i am absolutely okay"

Jungkook repeated these words like a mantra , but the tears didn't stop no matter how hard he tried.

"here" Jimin said as he handed a glass of water to Jungkook , whose eyes were red because of crying , Jungkook drank all the water in one go.

Currently Jungkook was in Taehyung and Jimin's apartment inside their bedroom . All three of them were sitting on the bed.

"so what happened koo" Jimin asked as he sat beside Jungkook and Taehyung sat in front of them.

"i had a fight with that old hag"

"your father?" Taehyung asked and Jungkook nodded

"why" Jimin asked .

"because we didn't like each other"

Taehyung and Jimin looked at each other and then looked at Jungkook.

"koo tell us please " Jimin said his voice was almost pleading.

Jungkook looked at his boyfriends whose eyes were only filled with concern and worry for Jungkook.

Seeing this Jungkook decided to just tell them everything afterall they have the right to know.
