EXPECTED Prologue

"If you immediately fall on your knees and kiss my feet, then I may show mercy and will not kill you."

This was a tall young man of Asian appearance. His height was 180 cm, but the robe still hung down to the ground. Long black hair was tied in a pigtail at the top of the head.

Next to him were two more men who looked alike, although uglier. They were this guy's "bitches" and followed all orders. Besides this trio, there was also a gorgeous looking girl. Unfortunately, the robe hid her shape, but her chest and butt were clearly protruding. She had a proud look and a slightly haughty expression on her face.

On the contrary, this "unique" team was me. An ordinary guy of European appearance with dark brown hair and well-developed muscles. I was not a jock, but I was not skinny either. In general, an absolutely ordinary person.

This team was called "Lions of Tankula". They were a well-known gang that controlled the local business. It just so happened that I am one of the businessman on Crimson Street. I have my own antique shop. Things haven't been going well for the past couple of weeks. I got sick and couldn't do business.

Just four weeks ago I had a heart attack, so the fact that I survived is already a miracle. However, after this incident, I began to look at the world completely differently. It seemed that everything in the area was ridiculously the same. Even this gang in front of me, which I used to be afraid of, now caused only laughter.

"Hun Che, I have no money right now, but next month I will return you double the amount, and even with interest."

But the leader of this gang was only angered by my words:

"Ke In, bastard, aren't you being too familiar?"

Hmm, I forgot that here everyone should be addressed as "you" or "older brother". Why only now does it seem strange and inconvenient to me? Nevertheless, I need to deal with this problem now, otherwise I can get hurt or even die.

- "Big brother, how could I? I'm just trying to find a way out of this situation. After all, we all want to live happily, so I'm trying to find a mutual benefit for both of us."

Hong Che stood with a serious expression and considered my words. Either it seems to me, or he did not understand some of my words. Although, what to take with such an uneducated idiot? Wait, shouldn't I be the same? Where do you get these thoughts from.

- "Okay, so be it, I'll let you get out of the water today."

- "Thanks a lot, brother!"

...

Looking at the backs of the people leaving, I thought. What to do next? I absolutely do not want to live the rest of my life under the yoke of these idiots. Maybe move to another city? Not sure if it will help, though. The only way out of this situation is to move to the city center, to a safe area. But how to do that? To live there I have to receive several times more than now! Maybe try to join the Light Feather sect? She is the ruler in the city of Easy Feather, so it's not so bad! But, do I have enough abilities? I have to try it tomorrow.

After thinking, I returned to my shop, ate and went to bed.

When I woke up, I went to the city center. Today was a working day, so not many people walked the streets.

Renting a carriage cost me two spiritual coins, but for some reason it didn't really bother me, although I would have regretted this trifle before.

At noon I arrived at the Light Feather sect. I had to get to the Eastern Palace of the sect, so I had to walk another couple of hundred meters.

When I got there, I noticed that there was a wall with signs to the right of the entrance. Each of them had something written on it, but I took only the one with the inscription "exam".

As soon as I took the tablet in my hands, mysterious arrows appeared on the ground that indicated the way. Following them, I got to the entrance to the room.

To the left of the door was a small recess in which a sign had to be placed. Doing so, the door opened.

The room seemed completely white. In the center of it there was a white table and 2 chairs, one of which was a gray-haired man.

"Have a seat." - he said.

I did as I was told, and the man started asking questions:

"What is your name?"

"Ke In." I answered.

"How old are you?"

"21." - I am

"Have you been living in our city since birth?"

"Yes." - I am.

"Okay, put your hand on the soulstone."

At first I did not understand what they were asking me for, but soon I noticed that there was a handprint on the table, which was slightly sparkling. Putting my hand on it, I felt a little cold, but that's all.

For the man, it seems that this was enough, because he just nodded and wrote something in his notebook.

"Okay, this stage is over. Go to the room on the left with this one." - he said.

Jokes in the room on the left, he says? I turned my head and noticed that there was a white stone door in the wall. When did you appear there? I'm sure there was no door when I entered. This organization is very mysterious.

I took the piece of paper from the man's hands and went to the room on the left. Once inside, I realized that she looked identical to the previous one, only a young woman was sitting instead of a man.

I sat down at the table and she asked me to give her a sheet. Glancing briefly at the contents, she put the sheet aside and said:

"Condense your spiritual power."

To be honest, this request took me by surprise. How do I know how to do this?

The woman, seeing that I did not react in any way, reached out her hand to the table and at the same moment a small platform appeared on its surface.

"Put your hand here, please." - she said.

I didn't resist and did as ordered, but no effect followed. Is that how it should be?

Apparently, the woman was not surprised. She took a sheet of paper that I gave her recently and wrote something down.

Handing me a sheet of paper, she said:

"Take this to the room on the right."

Isn't the room on the right the same room that I came from? So I don't suit them?

Following the woman's instructions, I ended up in a white room with a man. He looked at the sheet that I handed over to him and said:

"I'm sorry, but you cannot become a student of our organization."

"Really sorry. May I ask why I am not right for you?" I asked.

"Of course, I can say. Since our organization is not chasing after the number of students, and for their quality, we are forced to take only those who have the rudiments of spiritual strength, and you, unfortunately, do not have it." - the man answered.

So I have no spiritual strength? Maybe that woman was testing her? What then to do now?

"Am I doomed for life? There is no way to come to you without spiritual strength?" I asked.

I have to solve this problem before the end of the month, otherwise that gang of idiots will finish me off!
