The golden avatar shattered into pieces, the elder was sent flying back. Smashing into the wall.

A chain of lightning scattered towards Akiol. The bolts unorganized and messy, some landing into the ground. Akiol dispelled Everbright Snow and used [Reflective Metal]. The lightning that reached him was deflect back towards the sender, who was Filal.

The lightning flowed through her body. Yet she remained fine. Akiol's [Aura Boost] was about to run out of time. Since he dispelled Breaker of Stars he figured he should end this quickly.

Clang~!

Akiol snapped Filal's weapon, due to the power of Breaker of Stars Akiol had no issue surpassing the limit of the weapon. The top half of the sword flung away and buried into the ground.

Filal was shocked by this outcome, and Akiol used this as an opportunity. He swung his sword, a large cut appearing on her stomach. The force sent her flying back and sliding through the dirt.

The Elder's were in shock, "What?! Since when did Water Serpent Clan have such a terrifying genius?!"

Using [Dimension Skip] he appeared in front of one of the elders. They hurried to defend, but it was pointless. Breaker of Stars carved through the defense easily and killed the Elder.

The remained Elder, the one who used the forbidden technique to petrify Akiol, quickly dropped to their knees and pleaded, "Spare this insolent one!"

Akiol walked over and tapped the elder's nose with Breaker of Stars, "Why should I?"

"This insolent one has made a grave mistake! Killing me will only bring future trouble! If you let me go I can inform the entire of Dragon Head Clan to never mess with Water Serpent Clan! However killing me would only bring more conflict, you wouldn't want that."

Akiol closed his eyes in annoyance, "So your pleading ended with a threat. No thanks."

The sword pierced through the elder's head, and they dropped to the ground. Akiol flicked his wrist to fling off the blood on Breaker of Stars.

'Time's up! If you continue you may not be able to completely form.'

Akiol absorbed Stars without hesitation, "We're going to have a chat about this later. I need to fully understand."

'Yes yes, I will explain. I do believe you have to take care of that one though.'

Akiol looked over to the Genius who held a sword in their hand, "You. . . you're ruining this all! If I don't kill you today I am not Zui Hao!" The Genius yelled.

Zui Hao ran forward, "[Five Sword Spirits: Three Fold Swing]!"

The identical swings were directed towards Akiol. He noticed none of the attacks were an illusion, meaning he was being attacked simultaneously from three different angles. Akiol switched his buff to agility and deflected all the blows. Switching back to strength he swung, Zui Hao blocked the blow but was sent sliding back a meter.

Akiol's buff ran out at that exact time as well, meaning he no longer held the edge in stats. Zui Hao noticed the glow disappearing and gave a wicked smile, "So you lost your strengthening technique. [Fire Path Ultimate Ascension Art: Phoenix's Embrace]!

Zui Hao was enveloped in an orange glow, two large fire wings extended from their back. The flames were scorching hot, burning the grass away instantly. Zui Hao laughed, "Hahaha! My Ascension Art increases my power five fold! Now that your strengthening technique is gone you no longer stand a chance!"

Dong~!

The surrounding environment changed into a dark red place. Thunder crackling in the distance. Zui Hao was startled by the change, "What?! You changed the area?! A domain? No, yet I am being weakened. . . What did you do?!"

As Zui Hao was boasting about his Ascension Art, Akiol used [Dimension Change]. If what the Genius said was true, then he would need the additional buff.

Zui Hao shook his head, "It doesn't matter, I am still far stronger! [Phoenix Path Ultimate Art: Fallen Sun]!"

Whong~!

A large ball of fire extended above Zui Hao. He threw it down towards Akiol, it's size wasn't something he could dodge. He pulled out Everbright Snow, using [Reflective Metal] on the ball as it approached him.

It failed to do anything, the first time he was unable to deflect an attack! Akiol felt like the move description was false. So he hurriedly attempted to save his life.

A green shield surrounded him. It was from his ring he obtained before the Guild competition. A skill named [The Promise], the ball of fire crashed into Akiol as he was absorbed into it.

Surrounded by fire the shield pulsed, "Is this some sort of planet destroying attack?" Akiol commented as his shield pulsed again.

On the third pulse it shattered, the flames began to melt his body. He quickly used [Dimension Dive] in an attempt to save his life. In the black in white world he was unable to gain a sense of direction. For the flames were white in the separate dimension. He only felt heat, so he ran in a single direction.

The five seconds were over and he was kicked from the dimension. Before he could even continue melting the ball of fire exploded.

Akiol's health plummeted! A yellow shield appeared and blocked the remaining explosion. Akiol gave a playful grin, "That was quite the attack."

The flames scattered across the dimension, Zui Hao saw the pursuer still standing, "You are quite the tenacious one aren't you? However I see you're on your final leg, a shame. Let it be known that you fell to the hands of Zui Hao!"

Akiol coughed while chuckling, "Just one question, how come your far stronger than those 'elders'? It seemed like their deaths were unnecessary."

"Hmph! If I couldn't surpass some random elders from another clan I wouldn't be considered a great genius! I have two of the most greatest clans going head to head for me!"

Akiol nodded, "It's a shame you're a traitor."

"Traitor I shall be then, but I will not let Water Serpent Clan stop my progress!"

In Akiol's left palm a small needle popped out. He thrust this in his chest and a small amount of fluid was dispensed into his body. This was [Tool 6 (First Aid)] the fluid moved towards his core and began mending and repairing the damage. Zui Hao rose an eyebrow, "You're healing? There isn't any quick acting healing techniques in Water Serpent Clan. Not like it matters, I shall finish you off with one of the Water Serpent Clan's special abilities. [Water Path: River Serpent]!"

A giant serpent made of water ascended above Zui Hao's head. He raised his arm and moved it down towards Akiol. The water serpent reared its head and dashed towards Akiol.

The serpent opened its jaws and went to swallow Akiol whole!

The Existence of Disease was already killed, so why was it in the Abyss?

Travis frowned, he didn't understand this. Perhaps it was just a coincidence? Did an Abyssal Creature mutate and look similar to the Existence of Disease?

It didn't matter, the Existence of Disease was the weakest of all the Land Guardians. However it was accepted to be the one with the most potential. Had the players not finished it off so soon it would have been able to surpass all the Land Guardians. It could infinitely grow stronger.

Travis was able to finish off the creature with ease. It seemed weak for a Land Guardian, even if it was the weakest. So he assumed it was a coincidence.

Flinnder took the loot, a part of the agreement. He would obtain all the materials from the creatures. Travis only got the experience.

Flinnder searched the surrounding area before clapping his hands, "Alright! That's enough for today. It would be best if you rest up and continue training tomorrow. Now let's go!"

He opened the black square and beckoned Travis in. Travis obediently walked in and headed for his room. Once he entered the room he logged out.

Taking off his helmet he sighed. This wasn't necessarily his way of improving his life. However he had no choice if he wanted to keep his effort.

The three years he regained were originally spent playing A World's Legacy. Although he only joined when the real world currency exchange update released. After that he spent everyday playing the game and learning about it. He joined a guild and began his journey.

He only spent his time learning about the game, along with playing it. He hardly spent anytime learning about the news of the real world. So this was the only way he could change his future now that he returned to the past.

By obtaining items that would become immensely popular beforehand would allow him to make a fortune. Yet he was missing out on so much!

How come he hadn't heard a whisper of this Abyss event! Had the original user of the sword gone through this as well?

However he couldn't complain too much, ever since he was forced into the strange circumstances his skill improved drastically. He even began training his body in the real world to practice some of the techniques he learned.

He looked over to the blindfold he bought from a corner store. He put it on and began familiarizing himself without his sight. He was determined to get this right.
