Unrequited Love.

At one of the Blood family manor in Tuscany, Italy.

Aurora was in her room.

Sitting in front of her, there was a woman in her 30s.

The woman is one of the 8 security team leaders of Nameless, Cynthia James.

An Ex-special forces soldier, from Country S.A.

A friend of Timothy, from when he was in the special forces.

"Ma'am, we have finished taking over the security of the Manor." Cynthia reported.

"Good, was there any problem? Did Wilshere cause any trouble for you?" Aurora asked.

The first thing Aurora did after coming to the Manor was to take charge of the manor's security.

Aurora didn't even ask for her father's permission.

"No, Sir Wilshere complied to everything we asked of him. There was no resistance from his people, we have taken control of the security smoothly."

Aurora nodded.

"Good, you can go now. But keep an eye on Wilshere."

"Yes, ma'am." Nodding to Aurora, Cynthia left the room.

Alone in her room, Aurora wonders about what her father is up to.

Since Aurora came here to the manor, she didn't meet Aiden.

Aiden invited Aurora to join him at breakfast, but Aurora refused the invitation.

Tessiana still has not arrived at the Manor.

Her mother is busy with work and should be arriving soon.

Cynthia reported that Aurora's uncles, aunts and cousins have arrived at the Manor.

Aiden allowed everything Aurora did with the security.

He didn't even get mad or asked her any questions about it.

He let her do as she pleased.

"I guess, I'll just have to wait till the evening." Aurora muttered before she sat at a chair nearby.

Aurora went into deep thought.

There were rumours that Aiden has arranged a fiancee for Aaron.

She hasn't confirmed the rumours with her mother but it's obvious to her that those rumours are true.

This party Aiden has organized should have been to announce Aaron's engagement but since Aaron didn't come here, Aiden's original plan to announce Aaron's engagement is invalid.

He can't announce something so serious such as engagements without Aaron's presence.

It will make the Sacred Society talk about it, and Aaron not being present at the party will send the message that he is against the engagement.

Aiden can't let the Blood family be a laughing stock to the Sacred Society.

Aiden should have a contingency plan, for this kind of outcome.

She has a few guesses, but she isn't sure.

The most likely outcome should be, her engagement.

It has a higher chance of happening.

Her and Aaron's relationship is close. By forcing a marriage to her, Aiden can put pressure on Aaron.

Though it has a higher chance of happening, with her personality she would retaliate for sure.

Aiden also knows that.

Coming out of her thoughts, Aurora sighed.

'Fu*k all this stress is triggering me!!!' Aurora screamed in her mind.

'Whoa, sis calm down!' Nyx's voice was heard through the telepathic channel.

'I'm just stressed out a bit trying to think of the s*it what our father is up to. There's also the thing with Er-' Aurora stopped speaking.

'What?' Nyx asked Aurora.

'Nothing.' Aurora replied.

'What tell me, you just abruptly stopped! What's wrong? Tell me, don't leave me hanging!' Nyx insisted Aurora to finish what she was about to tell her but stopped mid-sentence.

'There's nothing, go do what you were doing. Bye!' Aurora cut off the telepathic channel, blocking both Nyx and Aaron.

"Fu*k!" Aurora cursed.

Suddenly, Aurora became a bit depressed and mad remembering something she almost forgot.

She massaged her temple and felt irritated remembering the events before coming here to Tuscany.

*knock knock*

Hearing the knock on the door, Aurora quickly composed herself.

"Come in!"

The door was opened and a beautiful woman entered the room.

Aurora's expression brightened up seeing the person who entered the room.

It's her mother, Tessiana Blood.

Quickly getting up from the chair, Aurora approached Tessiana before hugging her.

"Mother, you came!"

Tessiana hugged Aurora back before replying.

"I missed you, Aurora."

"I missed you too, mom!"

Separating themselves from the hug, the mother and daughter sat at the chairs nearby.

"How are you, Aurora?" Tessiana asked Aurora.

"I'm fine, mom. What about you? You have been working hard at the office, you should take some rest. Too much work is unhealthy for you!"

"Hahaha! It's fine, there's nothing to worry about. And yes, I will take some time off soon."

The mother and daughter talked and caught up with each other.

After 15 minutes of talking about their daily life, Tessiana asked Aurora about the security of the manor.

"I tried to send a message to Father, but there's no reaction." Aurora told Tessiana.

"Well, he is angry but he didn't want to play into your hands. So he didn't do anything." Tessiana gave a wry smile to Aurora.

"Do you have any idea, what he might have planned for the party?" She asked her mother.

Tessiana shook her head before replying.

"Even I don't know what he has planned... Whatever it is, I reckon it's something not favourable for both you and your brother. Aiden is being too secretive, I tried to cause some troubles for him but he didn't retaliate. Which makes me guess, what I did, It doesn't affect his goals but makes slight changes in his plans. It's nothing of importance, so he can change his plans without many setbacks."

"I see..."

"You don't have to stress too much on guessing his plans for tonight. You can't do anything until you know what he has planned. All you can do is wait, Aurora." Tessiana said to Aurora.

"I know, I'm not too stressed really."

Raising her brows, Tessiana questioned Aurora.

"Is that so, if you're not stressed then why do appear to be stressed? Is there something going on? A boy?"

Hearing her mother, Aurora's eye twitched.

"No, there's nothing! I'm not stressed or anything, I'm fine. There's no 'boy', mom!" Raising her voice, Aurora replied.

"Really? If there are no boys then maybe a girl?"

"Moooom!!!"

"Okay, okay I won't tease you anymore! You should greet your uncles, aunts and your cousins. They are here too. Try to distract yourself until the party." Tessiana said as she got up from her chair.

"I will soon."

After Tessiana left, Aurora was left alone in her room.

Aurora sighed thinking about something.

Is she stressed out? Yes.

Is it about the party? Partly.

Aurora recalled what happened with Erina.

*At country O before arriving in Italy.*

"Is something wrong?" Aurora asked Erina.

Erina had a sad expression on her face.

She looked up and met Aurora's deep dark green eyes.

Her heart was in turmoil.

She can't do it anymore, it's hard for herself.

It's a torture for her, hoping for something that might never happen.

She is looking at Aurora but Aurora doesn't look her back with the same gaze that she looks at her.

It's her loving Aurora and Aurora not even moved by her love.

'Can I even call this love? It's completely one-sided and its sex.' Erina laughed inwardly, disparaging herself.

She has always hoped for something more than the relationship they have but Aurora doesn't want to give her heart to anyone.

Over and over again she told herself that it might work, but she knows it's nothing but false hope.

She knew that what she was doing, will eventually destroy her.

'I guess, I'm not meant to be loved by her...' Erina said in her mind.

A part of her heart cracked.

"I'm sorry, but I can't do this anymore." Erina said to Aurora.

"?" Aurora was confused and couldn't understand what Erina was saying.

"What do you mean, you can't do this anymore? What are you talking about?" Aurora asked Erina.

"I wish to break the agreement we had. I no longer want to have a physical relationship with you, Aurora. I'm sorry, but I can't do this anymore."

Aurora was dumbfounded hearing Erina.

She was speechless and couldn't find any word to reply to Erina.

Aurora saw that Erina wanted to say some more but she stopped herself from saying anything further.

Erina shook her head and left Aurora's apartment.

Leaving Aurora alone and confused.

"Fu*k! I shouldn't have thought about what happened." Aurora muttered trying to distract herself.

Every time she remembers it, it makes her angry, annoyed, upset and disappointed.

She shook her head, before remembering her mother's words.

Nodding, Aurora decided to greet her uncle, aunts and cousins.

"It should be enough to distract me." Aurora muttered to herself.
