Maya Pov

It's been two days since I was handcuffed to the bed, that night Raffael walked in with no questions and to it off. I knew who sent him of course, that bastard. I haven't seen the bastard since then, it was as if he was avoiding me. To be honest, everyone seems weird, even Aria wouldn't look me in the eyes anymore. Things were changing in the house— Cara: that lady of the house. She was becoming more comfortable, making the meal prep. Making sure the table was set, choosing the flowers for the house setting. Which was mainly Lilly's, looking at them was making me sick. 

"I think we should close the library that night, you know how drunk people get. I heard Ms Lastra loved it" I heard her voice coming from the corridor that leads to the library, that I was currently occupying. Closing the book I was reading, when I heard her heels on the wooden floors.

"Ms Maya," Celine, one of the maid said when she saw me.

"Hi, Celine" I smiled at her.
