Couldn’t Stand Them

Margaret Beaufort:

Just as I thought Stafford had left me to pray to my god in peace he retreats and starts lecturing me all over again. "You will write no more letters, you will write to no one at all. Especially Jasper Tudor. And if I find that you have, I shall take away your books, your freedoms and your visits to your son! Is that clear, Margaret?"

"Is it clear!?" He shouted at the top of his lungs, almost like a hairy beast ready to eat it's prey. Who does he think he is, my father?

I'm very positive that, that was indeed very clear. I mean he is the only one speaking, in a loud echoing room. While I am here silently waiting for him to retreat from whatever stable he came out of.

I hear the door shut behind me, and I feel relief spread through out my body. I fear one day that man will intend to kill me. And for what, my beliefs. Not the whole country has to be a York, I surely wouldn't want to support that terrible excuse for a family.

Elizabeth Woodville, The Queen Of England:

I rush over to my mother, who is staring out the window. There is a carriage outside, in which carries the devil himself. And his children, and family. I would love to rip off his head, but, Husbands orders. I will try not to kill him, but that does not mean I will treat him right, nor will anyone in my family. He beheaded my blood, only fair I behead his. Only then will he have learned his lesson. Like rebelling against the King wasn't enough, but he had to come back and pretend as if nothing ever happened.

Couldn't get any more shameless than that. He does not like me, nor my family, it is obvious he envy's the King, so why would he be Loyal? Edward is blinded by his love for them to even see it.

I was angry, very angry. Who wouldn't be, If I had even tried this on Edward, he would have not allowed it. But a woman is only a toy, for most people. There were was only few women who have the guts to stand against a man, or to stand against power.

"They're coming here for Christmas. We are not even out of mourning!" My mother finally opened her mouth to say. Out the window you see the dirty ground, and all the pebbles and rocks, and then you see a black horse, on it is Warwick. In the Carriage, led by 2 black horses, is Warwick's family.

I turn my head because I cannot even stand to look at him!

His face only gives me the image of my father and brother being slaughtered at his command. He doesn't even have sadness on his face. How do I sleep at night knowing I just murdered 2 innocent people, who still had so many years left to live.

I do not even think how living with them shall be.

Anne Neville:

We were riding on the Carriage. We were heading to the castle, the King has decided to forgive us, and so we will continue to live on, as if father had never betrayed him.

"I do not want to be here!" Issy said, she was always very paranoid. We know of what father has done to the Queen's family.

He slaughtered their Father and Brother in cold blood. They will forever hold it against him, and against us. I cannot imagine what they would do, and how they will treat us, knowing we will be staying in their territory.

Now we do not have any more time for second chances. Father has gone against the King, and although we have been forgiven, The King and his family will always be protected around us.

They will never look at us the same, and they will never treat us the same, the king might, but I have a feeling, my Father will ruin it. It's what he's good at doing, ruining things.
