Chapter 12: Hospital again

Arriving at the hospital, Melody wakes up feeling the car has stopped.

Before she can ask any questions, Colton is carrying Serenity out of the car and into the hospital.

This guy is too quick.

"Give me your phone." she says to braxton.

"Why?" he asks raising a brow.

"Because mine is probably melted and I need to talk to my brother." she says.

"oh crap, I forgot to text him." he says with a sigh as he knows how Luke and Hayden will react when they see him.

"Well that is your fault." she says as she snatches the phone from his hands.

She quickly dials her brothers number that she was forced to memorize when she was 8 years old.

"Braxton have you found them, what's going on??" Luke answers freaked out.

"Uhm brother?" she says baffled.

"Melody? where are you?" he says not expecting her to be using his friends phone.

"We are at the hospital, I am okay, but Serenity had hit her head really bad in the wreck and blacked out again." she says holding the tears back.

If she had tried harder, she could have protected her new friend in the car, but she just didn't predict any of this and couldn't act fast enough.

"Big brother will be there in ten minutes. You did well kid. Don't worry, I will handle the rest." He says sensing her tears being held in.

He hangs up and grabs Hayden, pulling him out of the office and into the car as he yells at the driver to step on it.

"What's going on man? did they find our sisters?" Hayden asks quickly.

"They did. Your sister fell unconscious and is in the hospital." he says carefully.

Hayden slams his fist in to the car seat in front of him and smiles evily.

"Looks like it's time to bring an end to that Coward family." hayden says.

"I think it's Howard.... but yeah close enough." Luke says adding on the last part when he sees Hayden glare at him.

While this conversation was taking place, at the hospital, a certain man was threatening all the doctors to find out what was wrong with Serenity and quickly.

The doctors were sweating from the pressure as they ordered some female nurses to begin. They swiftly shut the door in the room, removed the young beauty's clothes and personal belongings and set them aside. They began briefly washing her and then put a hospital gown on her before taking her to the room to Radiology for an MRI to make sure there was no damage to her head and spine from the crash.

As she is being rushed in, melody came dragging Braxton in by the hand telling him to walk faster so they can check on Serenity, not even caring about the condition she was in.

She looked like she slept in a dumpster with how dirty she was from head to toe.

A few seconds later a pair of over protective brothers came crashing through the hospital.

Hayden immediately sees Colton and runs to him, "Where is my sister?" he asks.

"MRI." Colton responds and then watches as Hayden tells the doctor his familial relationship with the patient and is allowed to go back and see her.

Seeing that gave him a reality check and he made plans that as soon as she woke up, he is going to start making her fall for him. Who cares about the age difference. She is almost 17 and I am 22. Not bad.

While he is thinking this, Luke spots Melody holding hands with Braxton who looked happy about it and went up and smacked their hands apart and glared at his friend.

He didn't look close enough to see that his friend was being dragged.

"Brother!" Melody hugs him when she sees that it's just him.

"Mel, Hayden is here for his sister, Serenity. Look at you, you have been injured and your, well, kind of dirty. Let's get you home to shower and rest and you can come back in the morning, okay." he says to her, hoping she won't argue with him to stay.

"I guess you are right, but I will just go home and shower and then get Serenity some clothes and come back tonight....Wait a minute...Did you say she is Hayden's sister, she is a Hunter?!" she says baffled that she didn't put it together. She wonders if Serenity had already put it together or not.

"Yes she is, now come on, if we don't go soon, you will have to wait till the morning." he says, he would prefer her to rest first, but as long as she will shower and eat, he will take it as a win.

She must really like Serenity. He will never understand how girls can connect and form a bond like that so quickly, like dude it has only been like 12 hours, but I guess they did have a car crash and got kidnapped together.

Thinking of that, he needs to find out what happened to the kidnappers.
