16. The S invitation

It's already two months after Gea last time in B city with Andrea, Deena, and her children. In the last two months, Gea's back and forth between S' city and B city spending time with her new families sent by God... Gea is always very grateful for it.

However, during that period Andrea still can't make David and Gea meet coincidentally as she afraid Gea will make a distance if she knew what Andrea wants, or worse losing her, on the other hand, David more believe in meeting coincidentally, than a setup meeting. He said 'if they were meant to be they'll meet somehow'.

It's not like Andrea or Deena never had made an effort, there always something that prevents them from meeting, like last week when David stayed till Saturday with his mother, Gea arrived late at night, and when Andrea makes Gea wait for David suddenly he calls to tell her that he can not come dealing with an urgency that happened in the last minute.

Gea still at her office arranged some files, after a session with the last client. Gea sigh looks at the invitation on her table. It's a simple black card with S' silver embroidered letter in the middle of it. It is a ball invitation from S' management and only a few people out of the company that invited to.

Gea is not a party people but doesn't mean she will not attend it, this kind of even it's Gea ways to gain access and information more of her client through observation especially in their way of interacting with others consider that some of them are in the entertainment industry.

Mr Adam is not an option for this time and Gea still put behind and doesn't even consider Dj advice on asking help from Andrea to Asked David as her plus one. unexpectedly her phone beeps ["Gea, it's Dave I have something to ask for, can I call you?]

When Dave has Gea personal number last time, they already talked and meet a couple of times. Gea also not consider Dave because she knew that Dave has someone he would like to ask, they discuss it so many times and Gea been encouraging Dave to ask out the woman that he interesting too.

Gea does not give Dave a reply instead, she called him straight and when the phone connects Dave desperate voice could be noticed

"Hy"

"Hi, I could hear your sigh" Gea told Dave she could sense something

"Hmmm, you not only a psychologist but you have a super ear as well" Dave sound a bit irritated by Gea comments

"Ha...ha. Thank you for your appreciation" Gea like to tease Dave

"Yea...ya... ya"

"What's, you need?" Gea cut Dave before, he could tease her back.

"Do you have plans for tomorrow night?"

"Why you asked? I may, I may not" Gea wasn't sure of Dave intention so she not want to jump into any conclusion

" I have this ball invitation from 'S' Management if you don't have any plans for tomorrow night, could you become my plus one?... please " Dave knows Gea is not a party person that is why he pleaded her.

"Why not asked her?" Gea really happy knowing her dilemma solved with this, however, she still wondering why Dave did not use this chance to ask for that woman out

"It's her company ball and as the host of the ball, she has a lot of in her hand than to be someone plus one," Dave explained why he ended up asking her

"Oh so you do ask, heh" Gea smirked but Dave can't see her

"Nope, I make JJ found out if she's available for the ball or not, he..he...he" David chuckle

"Hmmm, I'll think about it" Gea sure Dave doesn't have another choice besides her, therefore she would like to have him pleading.

"C'mon you'll only spend your weekend either with movies, novels or even going back to B city" during their time spent Dave learns that Gea enjoyed those activities during her weekend

"At least I enjoyed it than attend a ball invitation" Gea smile mischievously

"Please, I prepared everything for you... the dress, makeup, everything you need for the ball, you just need to be my plus one... please, I'll drive you to B city every weekend for a month," Dave begging, he knew that Gea would prefer car than train, however, she's not enjoying the driving part and don't really like to be drive-by just any other person.

"every weekend for three months" Gea reply

"every weekend for two months count whenever my schedule is free," Dave thought, un continuously eight weekends should be okay as he could use it as well.

"Done" Gea happily smile

" Thank You, you save me" Dave really happy

"You are welcome"....' you save me as well' Gea last sentence can't be heard by Dave as she only mouthed it

Gea heard a knock on her door before it's open

" It's 11:00 pm, are you going to stay here more?" Dj's face pop up when the door opened

"No, everything is finished I am ready to go up," Gea told Dj without looking up as she is standing and tide up her desk

"Including the 'S' ball plus one?" Dj walked inside and voice out her curiosity understanding Gea meaning behind the 'finished' word, it means everything she needs to take care of already solved

"Yup, including the plus one" Gea talk while turning off the lights in her office and drag Dj out didn't bother query looks in Dj's face

Dj gave a pout in her face and walked really slow to the elevator to protest for not having an explanation of Gea plus one for tomorrow night.

"I believe that my schedule tomorrow will be foremost until 2:00 pm " Gea know Dj already arranged her schedule for half-day tomorrow consider the invitation arrived a week ago and Gea has told her that she will go and needs someone as her plus one

" Your last session schedule is on 12:00, after that, you are free to do whatever you want" Dj look at elevator floor and response a little bit mad

"Dj. I am talking about my schedule, not my free time" Gea talk to Dj assertively

Dj lookup at Gea face and saw her care and love for her, even in her statement Dj could notice Gea ways of care for her

"I am sorry, your last session is on 12:00, after that you do not have any other appointment" Dj reply to Gea her response once again

"Thank you, and I am sorry too" Gea pulls Dj to herself

"It's me, Dave, plus one, and as his plus one I have an extra invitation on me, therefore tomorrow at 2.15 pm both of us have an appointment in 'Malikha B&B' " Gea whispered in Dj's ear while they're hugging each other

"Really... really? can I bring my plus one with me?" DJ lookup at Gea's face with her cat eyes

"Yup," Gea reply when she's heading to their apartment and before entering her room she told DJ to bring George her plus one in 'Malikha B&B ' to choose his suits as well.
