Fight Between The Police

It was dawn, and sunlight entered their room through the window.

Dhruva took the piece of paper, and read it under the first rays of sunlight.

'XX/XX/XXX

15

Central Street, Abandoned building.'

There were only three short words, yet they were more precious than gold. After all, this was a valuable intel, which Param had obtained through hard work *cough* and luck.

As soon as next day arrived Dhruva immediately went and developed the photos. Although he had urged the photographer, it would still take six hours to develop them.

To ensure that his mentor wasn't suspicious of him, Dhruva appeared for his job while acting that nothing out of the blue had happened. While his mentor was suspicious of him, he didn't find anything that could support those suspicions.

The day passed with patrolling in the intense heat and wind, and then helping the officers with insignificant cases.

Like the case where a daughter-in-law's complaint against her mother-in-law for stealing her precious "Fairy's Secret" nightie.

Like the case where a Martial Artist women had killed her sister wife's pet in a fit of anger. Their husband was in misery, being grinded everyday between those two women.

Like the case where a son had locked up his mom because she wanted to marry her boyfriend, who was also her son's ex-best friend.

"What the hell is this?"

This was what every trainee would say on their first day.

Grabbing a chance, Dhruva looked around like a thief and silently put the camera back in. With the camera now in place, he heaved a sigh of relief.

The day quietly passed, and Dhruva returned to the photo shop. On seeing the developed photos his heart beat wildly and he cheered in his heart.

Humph! Water Bottleman, you forced me to hang high up in the air. Let's see how I skin you alive!

His vicious face scared the photographer, and he tried to recall if there were some pictures in which a couple was caught doing adultery.

Dhruva put the photos back in the envelope and handed the photographer a few Peace notes. His face had a satisfied expression as he walked out of the shop.

However his happiness didn't last long because he heard an unexpected voice.

"What are you doing here?"

Dhruva looked at the person with a stunned face. A little away from him, his mentor Mr. Water Bottleman stood with hands in his pockets, staring at him with a dark face. The evening light made his dark face even more frightening and vicious.

He still had his uniform on, which told of his amazing stalking techniques, given that even Dhruva hadn't detected him even after taking precautions. Apparently, instead of returning home this fellow had followed his trainee secretly.

His eyes moved from Dhruva's face to the envelope in his hand, and he coldly asked.

"Oh! I didn't know that you had a camera. May I see those photos?"

Dhruva felt his back become wet with sweat, and the hand holding the envelope became moist.

"Ah…mentor! Actually these are the personal photos of my orphanage's manager…."

He waved the envelope in his hands and tried to speak in a casual way. Alas, his attempt failed completely and his mentor walked near him.

The young trainee police officer wasted none of his time and turned around and sprinted towards the police station where he worked. Realizing this, his mentor followed after him with a vicious face.

Two figures run around the Community, and they parkered their way through various alleys and walls.

Dhruva ran like Jackie Chan, and would occasionally throw out stuff in front of his mentor's path. All kinds of things were thrown, be it garbage cans, wooden planks, or underwear…

Alas, his mentor had years of experience under his belt, and had no problems in trailing a puny trainee.

He'd long tucked the envelope inside this police trainee clothes.

The uniform of the police officers was somewhat similar to those in Param's previous Earth, except that even these clothes were based on the Martial Artist's attire, and had large borderlines and long sleeves.

Their trouser was similarly short, only stopping above their knee, where they would meet thick and heavy boots which looks a little like modern sports shoes. The trouser and belt also had multiple holsters, which held different kinds of stuff that they used during patrolling.

"FOOk!" Dhruva screamed as he jumped into a tram. Coincidentally, the conductor was the same person who'd watched the fight with Param and the hooligans.

His mentor sprinted near the tram's entrance and hopped inside.

But what waiting inside was a kick to the face!

*BAM*

The kick arrived and hit the police officer's forearm which he had hurriedly pulled up. With years of experience, his posture was stable and wasn't fazed even with a surprise attack.

Dhruva became frightened as he guessed his experienced mentor's counter-attack. As expected, the police officer's retaliation was quite vicious as he threw a punch at the young boy's knee which was still in contact with his other hand.

Dhruva had no choice but to lower his leg and his mentor changed his posture for a piercing kick. The kick was aimed to stomp onto his other knee; an attack which would disable his opponent in an instant.

The young police trainee realized that his mentor was truly angry this time, and if he lost this match, it was very likely that he would even lose his life!

Dhruva kept retreating and soon arrived at the partition of the tram's bogey. This place was narrow and where it was easy to defend and difficult to attack. Many people were present on the other side, and they were surprised when they saw two police officers fighting.

*BAM*

A punch finally landed over Dhruva's stomach, and he choked up in pain, as the acid from his stomach touched his throat. He quickly retreated and his figure collapsed after a few steps, just next to a young girl.

"Hey! Are you okay?" The young girl who looked like she'd just passed through her teenage took pity on him and asked the fallen police trainee. However, as she bent the purse in her hand slipped and fell over Dhruva's chest.

* (sfx) PLAT *

Dhruva felt like his chest has been crushed.

Oh True One, just what the hell is this thin girl carrying!

On seeing the young police trainee's pale face, her beautiful brows furrowed in anger. She turned her face around, and began to scold the only standing police officer.

"How can you hit your own person so viciously? Don't you-"

Before she could finish, a kick arrived and hit her chest, and her body slid and hit the chairs on the sides. With the pain now bursting in her chest, she stared at the police officer with wide eyes in surprise. She couldn't believe that a police officer would try to hit her.

The other people in the tram went "Kyaa~~" and retreated hurried. They weren't sure whether this crazy police officer would not beat them up out of anger.

The police officer didn't care about the girl's angry expression and gave her a snort on her face.

"Don't interfere." He only said those words.

To tell the truth, he even inwardly thought that he looked quite cool when he just said that.

* (sfx) BAM! *

His 'cool moment' was shattered when a handbag suddenly flew and hit his face, almost knocking him out.
