"Okay. I am hungry. Are you feeling hungry?" Bai Xifeng asked. She was curious whether the python felt hungry or not.

"I had not been eating for a thousand years. What do you think about that?" Baishe narrowed her eyes.

"You must be feeling hungry. What do you eat?" Bai Xifeng wanted to treat Baishe.

"Human," Baishe said the word.

Bai Xifeng just stared at Baishe without blinking for a moment.

"You eat humans?" Bai Xifeng managed to ask back.

"What? Are you afraid of me?" Baishe smiled.

"Well, you already pledged your loyalty to me. You would not eat me." Bai Xifeng just grinned.
