Meeting Huang Zhong

The next day Huang Zhong left the Liu Manor with Huang Xu and his servant Ren. Huang Zhong was pulling on his horse's reins while the horse was pulling a wooden plank with two wheels on which Huang Xu was laying with Ren looking over him. They arrived at the Inn Yun was staying as Dian Wei was already awaiting them.

The night before, Yun returned with Diao Chan when they find Dian Wei having the kittens on his shoulder while Dian Wei was holding a letter that came for Huang Zhong out of the kittens' reach.

"What do you have there?" asks Yun seeing Dian Wei was holding something.

"A letter for you, my Lord," says Dian Wei as he handed over the letter while the kittens jumped down from his shoulders.

Yun opened it and smiled while saying, "Tomorrow someone important will arrive at the Inn. I want you to welcome them."

"I will do as asked," says Dian Wei as Yun took his pouch out and throws it at Dian Wei who catches it.

"There is enough money to rent our rooms and an extra room for seven days. I want you to bring our guest immediately into the new room. I will await him there," says Yun as Dian Wei nods before going towards the Innkeeper to extend their stay from one night to a week.

The next morning Yun entered the room in which Huang Zhong will be staying from now on. Yun was preparing everything he needed to heal Huang Xu as he had two buckets with him. One has cold water in it while the other has warm water.

Yun could see Huang Zhong approach through the window and sees three people instead of two making him think who the woman looking after Huang Xu could be.

Dian Wei helped Huang Zhong while Ren brought the horse into the stable while putting the wooden plank beside the stable where it wouldn't bother anyone. They enter the inn and carry Huang Xu towards the room Huang Zhong and Huang Xu would be staying.

Huang Zhong was surprised to see someone with his back turned to them inside the room when he hears, "Dian Wei, tell the Innkeeper that you will need another bed in your room. I have miscalculated the people that Mr. Huang would bring with him."

"I will do so right away," says Dian Wei as he places Huang Xu on the bed with Huang Zhong before leaving the room.

Yun didn't turn around as he says, "I know about Huang Xu from Liu Biao but who is the woman beside you?"

"She is Ren, my servant. She takes care of Huang Xu the whole time," says Huang Zhong as he inspected Yun.

He saw that Yun was quite tall and well-trained as his muscles could be seen through his clothes. Yun feels Huang Zhong's stare and turns around making Huang Zhong and Ren see his blue eyes.

"Nice to meet you, Ren. It is also nice to meet you, General Huang. You can call me Zhao Yun for now since you still haven't entered into my service," says Yun looking into Huang Zhong's eyes.

"I heard that you wanted to have me as your teacher so I can teach you the ropes of being a General," says Huang Zhong as he looked into Yun's eyes.

They were holding a starring contest it seemed as Yun says, "No, I don't need a teacher."

"Why then tell Liu Biao that you needed a teacher?" asks Huang Zhong confused as he sees Yun smile at him.

"I needed him to drop his guard. He is suspicious of me for coming to Xiangyang and I understand why because of my past deeds," says Yun as he grinned at Huang Zhong showing him his teeth.

"And why did you come to Xiangyang? What is your objective?" asks Huang Zhong nervous as he didn't want to drag his son and servant into danger.

"I came to Xiangyang because I need people that I can trust like, Dian Wei, the person you just met. And right now I am looking at another one. Everyone else I pick up on the way is just a bonus," says Yun as he sees Huang Zhong confused face which made him laugh.

"Why should I be loyal to you?" asks Huang Zhong confused as he didn't care about Yun laughing over him.

"Because I can give you the one thing you want the most in this world," says Yun as he walked toward Huang Xu.

"Do you think I am a naive man? Many people tried to lure me that way but no one was able to heal him," says Huang Zhong angry at Yun.

"That's why I will do it right now in front of you," says Yun as he stood over Huang Xu.

He turned Huang Xu face down while placing his head over the bucket with cold water. Then he rips Huang Xu's shirt apart and his eyes begin to glow a bit while Light Qi was concentrating in his hands.

Huang Zhong couldn't believe what he was seeing as he asks, "Is that Qi?"

"It is but it has more power because it is infused with Light," says Yun as he places his hand on Huang Xu's back and slowly it enters Huang Xu's body.

Yun circulated the Light Qi through Huang Xu's body and slowly Huang Xu began to sweat black matter out of his pores while vomiting it as well into the bucket placed under him.

Yun stopped his treatment and says, "I will need to do this three more times before he is completely healed from his sickness."

Yun placed his hand and the bucket with warm water and cleaned his hands before turning to Huang Zhong and Ren who were kneeling on one knee in front of him placing his hands together by making a fist that was covered by a palm.

"My family will serve you until your bloodline dies out if you can cure my son completely," says Huang Zhong as he had tears in his eyes since he saw a future in which his family line was going on and wouldn't end with him burying his son.

"You should clean him and keep it a secret that Huang Xu is recovering. If Liu Biao finds out he would try to get you back and I can't fight against him yet," says Yun as Huang Zhong nods.

"Our lips are sealed," says Huang Zhong when Yun helped them up.

"Then I will leave you. Ren will be sleeping in my room with my wife while I will be sleeping with Dian Wei," says Yun as Ren seemed uncomfortable with this situation.

"I can sleep here with Lord Huang Xu while Lord Huang Zhong can sleep with Lord Dian Wei," says Ren as she didn't want to separate Zhao Yun from his wife.

"I insist my wife will need a personal maid soon and Huang Zhong won't need a servant once Huang Xu can take care of himself. Even if you were to marry Huang Xu, you will need a place to work and it is quite safe for you and if Huang Zhong trusted you with his son I can trust you in taking care of my wife in the future," says Yun looking at Ren as Ren looked at Huang Zhong.

Huang Zhong was surprised that Yun already saw through the intention of him hiring Ren and says, "He is right, Ren. Once Huang Xu is healthy again, you won't have to look after him as you do now. You will need to have a workplace and you would be quite safe beside his wife."

"Bu-" says Ren when Yun looks at Ren interrupting her before walking towards the door and he opens it making a woman fall into the room.

Yun knowing who it was caught her and Huang Zhong pulled his sword out of its sheath when Yun stops him by saying, "It seems my wife couldn't wait until dinner to meet you."

"I'm sorry, Madam," says Huang Zhong as he put his sword back in its sheath while bowing to Diao Chan.

"Don't worry about that. My wife is quite the curious cat since she followed me here to see the world," says Zhao Yun as he knows that Huang Zhong wanted to do the right thing if Diao Chan turned out to be a spy.

"Anyway, since she is already here let me present you to her. Diao Chan, those are Huang Zhong, his son Huang Xu, and his servant Ren. This is my future wife Diao Chan. We are getting married once we return to Zhending," says Yun as Diao Chan looked at Ren.

Ren is around 1,67m tall with long brown hair and brown eyes. She wasn't beautiful or ugly making her, but Yun doesn't care about that. He wanted her because she can be trusted and Diao Chan knew that.

"Nice to meet you all," says Diao Chan as the kittens followed her inside making the two seeing the kittens open their eyes wide.

"Are thos-" says Ren before Diao Chan interrupts her.

"Tiger kittens, they are the children of the Tiger Yun brought to Liu Biao," says Diao Chan as the kittens walked bravely forward towards Huang Zhong and Ren.

"It is dangerous to keep Tigers," says Huang Zhong looking at Yun worried.

"We know since we already have one," says Yun as Huang Zhong was surprised that Yun had one Tiger already.

"But they aren't dangerous. The most dangerous animal I possess is my horse followed by my eagle," says Yun knowing that both of his partners are far more powerful than a simple Tiger.

"Really?" asks Huang Zhong confused as Yun and Diao Chan began to laugh from seeing his reaction.

"Once you see Thunder, you will know what Yun was talking about," says Diao Chan as Yun walks towards the bucket full of black matter while heating up the water in the other bucket.

"We should leave them to clean Huang Xu. We will meet you for dinner downstairs at a table," says Yun as the couple leaves the room with the kittens following them.

Yun separates from Diao Chan as he goes outside and he burns the bucket with everything inside it before going to buy another new bucket to continue the treatment.

Then he joins Dian Wei who informed him that the bed was carried into his room before informing Dian Wei that he would be staying with him until they leave Xiangyang.
