Meeting the Gods! (Part 1)

The smirk on Lucifer's face because of this achievement of his didn't last long after seeing what lied in front of him. It was a giant hall. Shining with golden glamour giving of an entirely otherworldly vibe. Lucifer had never seen something so grand ever before in his life. Forget about his life he doubted even the emperor had ever seen a hall like this before.

The hall had huge pillars surrounding the edges in the from of swords stabbed in to the ground. All swords were of equal height with intricate design running across them glowing with different lights. The lights emitted were very subtle. Some didn't even gave of any lights but auras that Lucifer couldn't describe.

But the thing that Lucifer was most curious about was the sword at the end of the hall it gave of no feeling at all but ironically all the swords seemed connected to it in a strange way.

Lucifer carefully started walking towards it, a feeling of familiarity could be sensed by him coming from the sword. Lucifer raised his hand and came closer to the sword and finally his fingers touched the stone cold sword.

Boom!

A loud sound echoed through out the hall, the entire hall started shaking.

Lucifer furrowed his brows in tension, he started running towards the entrance but just then he heard a thunderous laugh.

Hohohoho! Cough cough!

And a figure descended from the sword he touched earlier, all Lucifer could feel coming from the figure was a serene and divine aura he had never felt before. Lucifer gulped his saliva and collected his thoughts,

"hmm I have read these kind of things in novels its almost cliché I will act like the MC's did in the novel too…..lets see what happens"

"Brahma you scared the kid to the point that he went bullocks it seems…."

Lucifer widened his eyes in horror as another majestic sound came from behind him. He turned around and saw another figure descending down. He again tried to calm down and thought of a reasoning behind this scene but just then another sound boomed in his ears.

"I don't think he went bullocks its more like he was struck by lightning"

"hey don't look at me alright I didn't do anything"

Lucifer had already gave up on thinking at this point of time. He was just staring at all the figures hovering some two feet above the ground in a circular fashion around him. The aura they emitted was suffocating enough to choke him to death. His face was now completely pale, emotionlessly looking at all these figure that looked like deties. But unlike the deties he imagined these people had merrily started chatting amongst themselves as one by one all kinds of figures started descending from each of the swords. Lucifer was flabbergasted.

"what the hell is this a get-together of gods....."

Every figure was talking amongst their group with vigour.

"Zeus its been a long time buddy"

"Shiva its you, hoho indeed I remember the last time we went bonkers destroying the Armaxia planet together"

The muscular man with blue skin immediately replied in reminiscence

"Brings back memories haha!"

At another corner of the hall…..

"....and then I and Satan we both went to fairy Bozhai's (stockade of treasures) palace for the banquet but this devil here spent the night in the palace. God knows which banquet he was having"

"Shut up Prometheus, don't make me start and tell me which god knows about this huh?" a muscular figure with red skin and horns on his forehead immediately started berating.

High up n the air….

"Brahma how are you? Still maintaining a beard"

"You jest Odin, a change in look at this age haha I haven't went senile yet"

Some other corner...

"Fairy Xia how are you?

"Jesus Christ! Buddha I didn't notice you sneaking up on me"

A man with long robes and a bearded face with a cross pendant immediately turned around and asked in an inquiring tone.

"eh! someone called me?"

Lucifer had already given up on his mental power at this point because this phenomenon was too hard for him to figure out. Everywhere his gaze passed he could feel these otherworldy gods talking, laughing and loosing their bearings from time to time.

The image he had about gods had been completely shattered at this moment. Although all of them gave of a majestic aura of grandeur but their actions and the things they talked about were simply scandalous.

Lucifer face was completely red at this point,

"image guys image what will happen if your followers see you like this. Being an Atheist am already so embarrassed for you guys wont the others die from it."

Amidst the chit-chat a gentle voice echoed in the hall again.

"Alright dear friends lets stop our meeting and do what we came here for"

A figure who looked like a spartan flicked his red robe and said in a rightful manner

"Odin speaks the truth, we all left our remnant souls behind for this day so lets focus on the task at hand instead of conversing shall we?"

After which all the gods and goddesses stopped their talks and started nodding at this suggestion. Noticing that everyone was had given their signal the spartan figure continued.

"Alright Goddess Aphrodite why don't you explain the situation to our little friend"

A seductive figure in silky white clothing immediately gave a nod and smoothly landed beside Lucifer. He had never seen a beauty as seductive as this ever before. One look and the only thought in his mind was to make love with this goddess of love.

Reading Lucifer's thoughts Aphrodite gave him a seductive smile and approached him flaming the fire in his heart. Even some gods had fallen for her charm lest a mortal.

Looking at this scenario there was myriad of expression on every gods face. Some displayed embarrassment may be they too had fallen for her tricks once, some showed disgust, some showed desire wanting to fall in the trap willingly while some displayed curiosity.

Noticing that his choice of person for giving an explaination had gone severely wrong Ares, the spartan figure gave a dry laugh and interrupted the scenario happening below.

"Alright God Shai I think its better for you to explain him the situation since you were the one who divined about it yourself"

A figure with long black hair and white gown gave a subtle nod moved his hands slightly bringing back the dazed Lucifer into reality. After noticing what had just happened Lucifer gulped on his saliva and immediately turned his focus away from the goddess of love lest she made her move again.

God Shai after making sure Lucifer was back from his trance started his speech.
