She thought back to the time when she and Purple were imprisoned in the dungeon, next to each other.
At the time, she had wondered why Shera would place them so close to each other and why no one bothered them if they found out that they were talking. It was already strange that despite the chains, they were fed with delicious, nutritious food-nothing like the life of prisoners. When it was cold, they would be given hot chocolate and heat packs as well as thicker blankets to keep them warm.
When they managed to escape, Shera didn't get her men to go after them or kill them even though she was sure that the latter would have done that if it was anyone else in their place.
Later, she had found out that imprisoning her was Shera's way of protecting her. But then she wondered, what about Purple? Wasn't Purple a traitor? Why was she being protected as well?
She re-played her conversation with Purple in her mind.
