Why did they cheat on me??

After the celebratory dinner, Gu Nan pulled Xin Mei toward her room. Inside the closed room, Gu Nan opened her briefcase and gave a file to Xin Mie.

"what is this?"

"The proves which you have asked for."

Xin Mei froze upon hearing the words of Gu Nan. This file held the proves that Qian Fan was cheating on her with Zhou Mingyu. Somewhere she was praying that it was only her silly doubt that Qian Fan was really cheating on her.

"I know what you are feeling at this moment." Gu Nan placed her hand on the shoulder of Xin Mei. "But you have to face this reality, Xin Mei. What I was saying for so long was always the truth. Zhou Mingyu and Qian Fan were always deceiving you."

Xin Mei nodded toward Gu Nan. She took deep breaths before opening the file. A lot of photos spilled out in front of her. The photos which showed the intimacy of Zhou Mingyu and Qian Fan.

There were photos of them inside a hotel room, on a beach, amusement park and shooting locations.

Tears slipped out from the eyes of Xin Mei when she looked at the photos. She was such a big fool. They were getting intimate in front of her eyes but she always ignored them. There was a kissing photo and in that photo, her back could be seen.

Many memories flashed in front of her sight. One of them was of their hiking trip. During trekking, Qian Fan had carried Zhou Mingyu on his back. At that time, Xin Mei thought it to be care of Qian Fan toward Zhou Mingyu as her friend but now she realized that all the care was as his lover.

"I have always told you Meimei that Zhou Mingyu and Qian Fan are cheating on you but you never trusted me. Now see how badly they both have traded over your innocence for so long."

Gu Nan felt her heartache when she looked at the pale face of Xin Mei. Xin Mei held the pictures in a tight grip. Tears were falling down from her eyes. She was feeling as if someone was hammering on her heart.

She was so innocent. She trusted those two who were cheating her all this while. Why did they fall so low to deceive her? What wrong had she done with both of them? What not had she done for both of them?

"At this very moment, they are at the beach house of Qian Fan and are celebrating their seventh anniversary of relationship."

Words of Gu Nan were like salt on the wounds of Xin Mie. Gu Nan opened her laptop and played a live video.

"I hacked the security cameras of his beach house."

Without any breath, Xin Mei looked at the video. Video maybe blur but she knew that the silhouettes were none other than Qian Fan and Zhou Mingyu who were getting intimate with one another.

Xin Mei bit on her lips as soft sobs escaped her lips. She was such a dumb. She was a fool. She was stupid. She cursed herself.

Gu Nan who couldn't see her friend in broken state wrapped her arms around Xin Mie. Xin Mei broke down in her arms and sobs left her mouth.

"Why they cheated on me? Why? What wrong have I done to them? I sacrificed so much for them then why? I didn't enter into the film industry for both of them. I begged father to help their fathers so many times then why? Why are they so brutal towards me? Why?"

That night loud sobs of Xin Mei rung in her room. Her heart was broken badly. Her whole life, she was cheated by two people on whom she had trusted more than her life. How could those two cheat on her? How could they?
