Barry's Report And Next Steps

Every one of the mercenaries in the hub at that time watched in awe as Barry knelt before this newcomer. They are both around the same age, but it was still unbelievable to them to see Barry bow before someone else.

Barry initially came into Hephanit on a tide of wrath and ice. He quickly established himself by dominating other mercenary groups and taking on several impossibly difficult assignments all at once. He accomplished each of those tasks in record time, as well.

All of Barry's actions forced any mercenary, whether a veteran or brand new, to look at him with admiration and respect.

Now, this same mercenary who completely surpassed all others is bowing to a newcomer they've never seen before.

The man who shoved Alaric before slinked away outside of the hub.

Alaric felt pride in his chest and said, "rise, Barry, I see you've done very well."

Barry stood up and waved towards a back room, "I have a set of private quarters in this hub. We can speak there if you'd like."
